Some do, but you should be able to find something to help for dry skin, hot spots, etc. at stores like petco or petsmart.Does gromming shops sell dogs itch and scratching creams product?
if ur dog is itchy it could be from allergies or shampoos.u can buy dog oatmeal conditioners and human skin creams and appy it on ur dogs itchy spots.i use gold bond,benadryl cream and pills and vaseline on my husky when he gets red or itchy dry spots and it clears them up. he is big so when he gets a lot of raw hot areas i give him 1 benadryl per every 20 lbs of his weight and it soothes his allergies along with the anti itch creams. walmart has a good supply of these at good prices instead of pet stores or grooming shops.

But you need to know why the dog is itching. Is it fleas? Dry skin? Diet causing skin problems? Mange or other problems? If you can't figure it out, I would ask my vet.
