My fiance got burnt pretty bad and now the burn isnt as bad...but the itch is horrible for him. Do you have any suggestions? I had him take Ibproferen (sp) and put Solarcaine on his back.....is there anything else or better? thanks!Best creams for Sunburn Itching?
I read the first answer--do not put deodorant on it!! that could be a disaster! there is a lotion called Cetaphil that is really mild and lasts all day. that is usually what i use when i get burnt. actually i only use it after the burn is gone and i get itchy. while i still have the burn i use aloe veraBest creams for Sunburn Itching?
I read on yahoo that deodorant works good and I tried it. It actually does work pretty good. The sunburn itch is the worst!!
Sarna, it is an itch lotion. Can be purchased at drug stores or grocery stores. Or use refridg. aloe gel.
Try Aloe Vera with lidocaine in it. They sell it at most drug store, but make sure it has lidocaine in it.
Gold Bond lol:)
i watched the commercial and it relives all kinds of itc hes:)

Iam suffering from itching tell me about some creams, medicines that i should prefer?
There are two reasons why this is not the right place to pose this question.
First - you don't say where the itch is.
Secondly - only a doctor or a nurse is the right person to give medical advice.Iam suffering from itching tell me about some creams, medicines that i should prefer?
oatmeal bath you can find it at walmart also benadryl allergy antihistamine helps greatlyIam suffering from itching tell me about some creams, medicines that i should prefer?
This depends on where your itchy and why
Aveeno soap works great!

My dad's had excessive itching 4 over 6 mos now. What can I do to relieve the itching. Rx creams not helping
OTC Creams and medicine has not helped. We're desperate. Can someone help?My dad's had excessive itching 4 over 6 mos now. What can I do to relieve the itching. Rx creams not helping
For an itch to go on this long sounds like an allergy to something that he's coming into contact with.
Have you changed laundry detergents within the last 6 months? That's one of the first things that a good doctor will ask. It often helps to change to a detergent that is ';free'; of smells - meaning no dyes and no smells. There are several on the market that are good.
This also means no fabric softeners -- unless it's a ';free'; one as well.
You didn't say where the itching is. I'm assuming that it's all over.
This could also be a reaction to a medication that he's on. Often times, itching is one of the top nuisance side-effects of medication. Has he changed medication or started a new medication in the past 6 months?
If neither of those things could be the trigger, it's possible that he's allergic to something he's eating or coming into contact with, which can be extremely hard to figure out. Many people are allergic to milk, wheat, dairy, corn... the list goes on and on.
I would advise that he go and see a dermatologist first, and that doctor may even refer him to an allergist to have testing done to see if they can pinpoint exactly what's causing the itch.
Like I said - I'd try switching laundry detergents, then review his medications before anything else.
Good luck to you!My dad's had excessive itching 4 over 6 mos now. What can I do to relieve the itching. Rx creams not helping
How about a doctor? He probably has scabies.
He needs to see his doctor or a dermatologist. He may need prescription meds or an injection to stop the itching. The doc may need to do some tests to determine what is going on, but I hope it's not anything contagious!
Tell him to visit a doctor. I'm guessing there isn't too many here on yahoo question time
get him checked for Scabies.
Please see a doctor...He'll be able to diagnosis it...excessive itching SOUNDS LIKE poison oak??? But who knows?..Only a doctor knows..or maybe, ask a pharmacist...???
have you tried a cortizone shot?
I have had extreme itching on the back side of my hands. little bumps appeared and it looked weird. doctors all said that it is dry skin, weeks went by and no help with the creams. The only thing that helped was coconut butter lotion. believe it or not it cures stretch marks on pregnant woman and all other skin irritations. tell your father to try it out i cured my hands and i havent had problems sense. i still to this day dont know why may hands were so itchy and looked so bad but the coconut butter really worked.
If you have no obvious rason for the itching...like chemical irritants, allergies or eczma he should get antihystamines from the doctor...
Try an oatmeal bath.
Edit: Can you possibly describe what his skin looks like while he is itching, and how long he itches for.
What other symptoms? Is there a rash, roughness, tracking marks? When none of the medications help, it is time to get a reevaluation for what the root cause is, whether allergy, scabies, dry skin, etc. Good luck.
YES go get some over the counter claritin ( loritidine 10 mg) sam's club has it the cheapest, nothing could stop my excema from itching but ive been taking 2 pills morning %26amp; 2 at night . it works my dermatologist said its safe.
Is there an ';after-hours clinic'; close by? He could need a shot to relieve it. Sounds like some sort of allergic reaction. Try benedryl.

Vaginal burning/itching relief creams.. which one?
I was stuck at a wedding all day which rather tight pants and a panty liner. The panty Liner was scented, which i didnt know. During the middle of the day it my vagina started to get uncomfortable, and sore. I went to the Bathroom and removed the panty liner but the rest of the day it started to get worse.. and i couldnt do much about it because i was stuck at the reception. Now my outer Vagina is Sore, itchy and burns very mildly .. When i look at it, the underside of my labia are slightly red.
What over the counter cream should I get to relieve the irritation?. I have no discharge or smell, its just really annoying.. ive been putting A%26amp;D on it but it doesnt do much.Vaginal burning/itching relief creams.. which one?
If you were wearing tight clothes for a while you could have got thrush (yeast infection), so I'd try getting medication for that rather than general vaginal creams.
Neither me or anybody else I know has got smelly or abnormal discharge btw, so don't rule out thrush because you haven't got that.Vaginal burning/itching relief creams.. which one?
Try diaper rash cream. It is great for any area of the body that is itchy or heat rash. It is also very gentle on the skin.
Canesten. I know it's for yeast infections but it works great for the symptoms you're describing.
I wouldn't put anything on it, it's just an alergic type reaction, not an infection.
If need be just pick any cream but to be honest I wouldn't mess about and probably make things worse.
Just go in a bath with warm water and no soap.
Just wash with a mild soap and rinse well...leave it alone for a while...AND stop using scented liners....
I would wait it out because usually if you had like a yeast infection you would have a fishy smell and discharge. What you have could just be a reaction to the scented panty liner.

I have vaginal itching that won't go away with creams and experiencing pelvic pain. What could it be?
I am about 99.9% sure that it isn't an STD. I am married and not involved in an affair. My lower pelvic area is hurting not an intense pain just a burning with kind of painful twinges along with itching that keeps going on without any relief from OTC creams for yeast infections. I don't have any discharges or odors down there. Please help!!I have vaginal itching that won't go away with creams and experiencing pelvic pain. What could it be?
Call your doctor. You doctor may be able to diagnose this over the phone, and if not, a quick painless visit will quickly tell you what you have.
It sounds like you have one of three things - a yeast infection, a bacterial infection like vaginitis, or a (sounds unlikely) bladder infection.
If it is vaginities, you some antibiotics will clear it up. If it is a yeast infection, it may be the yeast is not reacting with the creams, and your doctor can prescribe a pill that kills all the yeast cells in your body, and should start to give you relief in one to three days.
It is really easy to get either vaginitis or a yeast infection down there. If your hormones are fluctiating oddly, you are stressed, basically anything that changes the uh, natural flora and fauna, things can start to get out of balance.
So don't worry about a STD. Go to your doctor, and find out what it is. That way if you get these symptoms again you can treat it on your own (if it is a yeast infection). The longer you treat for the wrong thing, the longer you will be uncomfortable. These things aren't any fun! Good luck!I have vaginal itching that won't go away with creams and experiencing pelvic pain. What could it be?
keep it dry and cool place avoid sun light keep it out reach of adults for some days .
I'm 99% sure you'll get rid of the itching. You have this itch probably because of the bacterial build-up in that area.
Change your underwear daily. After urinating, wash your private part off. After you goto the toilet, wash it off instead of wiping it off.
go see a doctor, immediately. you can catch a disease not only from an affair (yours or your husband's), but also by other different ways.
GO C A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY...U MIGHT HAVE AN INTERNAL VAGINAL INFECTION THAT NEEDS TO BE TACKLED WITH IMMEDIATELY OTHERWISE IT CAN WORSEN AND SPREAD....IT MIGHT ALSO BE RELATED TO A TUMOR CONDITION OR A GROWING STEM...PLZ CONSULT A GYNEACOLOGIST THIS V DAY!.....Maybe uve used some kindof hair removing cream etc which is causing the itching....im not the expert but i know what it an be related to! the best way to find out is the doc! get well soon! and plz take care!
At first I would say a yeast infection but you say it isn't. I would go to the doctor because I don't know what else it could be.
Try shaving your hairs away, it may be that.
Have you considered your husband may be having an affair?
Try substain from sex with your husband for a bit, and if it goes away, and you have sex again, and it comes back, it may be him.
You should get yourself over to a gynae, it may just be an elergic reaction to a new panty you got or something you eating.
What are you doing asking here? This is your health we are talking about! Most of the people here are teenagers. Maybe you can get some good advice here and I hope that you do, but for heavens sake go to the doctor!!!
I am hesitant to say this and I don't mean to make you feel bad, but just because a woman ';isn't involved in an affair'; doesn't mean that her husband isn't.
He probably isn't and its probably nothing but don't fool around-see a doctor.
Gonnorhea is nothing to clap about. Go to the OBGYN, ASAP. There are alot of STD's that don't have any symptoms for women.
you definitely should see a professional about this, there are so many things it could be there are pelvic inflammatory diseases, it could be an infection that is reoccurring, it could be a coital infection, some women are sensitive after relations with husbands have to be treated, remember women's equipment is delicate needs careful and constant hygeine and care.
it might be a vaginitis it means that your private organ has a bacteria that eats up the wall of your hymen but you said your married it only happen with virgins so the best thing to do is see a doctor.

Can you use hair removal creams on the male gentalia without pain such as burning or itching?
I'd encourage u to leave it alone....it's only hair...%26amp; obviously probably should be there...for whatever reason. Your genitalia should be super-sensitive to certain creams, lotions, sharp objects, etc., etc. Try to get to learn to like the gential area in it's hair growth format.....If you feel it is excessive, possibly you can 'trim' with a scissors, or some sort of shaver...This area of your body is designed to remove waste material %26amp; pro-creation, etc. Overall, probably a pretty well adapted design....just maintain it's cleanliness %26amp; go on with your life..Can you use hair removal creams on the male gentalia without pain such as burning or itching?
nooo do not use hair removal down thereCan you use hair removal creams on the male gentalia without pain such as burning or itching?
Leave the hair alone. Bald genitals make you look like you never went through puberty - really pervy. Unless you have crabs, you should never remove the protective hair from that sensitive area.
Nair will make you feel like you have fire ants in your whitey tighties.
Man! just use some clippers and a razor. And shaving cream for sensitive skin.
make your cat lick it off
I......don't.......think........so.
The answer is ...... YES
Yes you can less hassle makes it a whole lot smoother and sensitive. So enjoy hair!!!!!!!!

Creams to use on belly for itching?
I can't use anything with cocoa butter because I will get a horrible rash, are there any other creams out there to help with the itching, not necessarily stretch marks? I've read that some creams can't be used on the stomach because it will go directly to the fetus so I don't know which cream to buy.Creams to use on belly for itching?
This is going to sound a bit sticky, but it isnt. I use olive oil straight out of the shower with my skin just a touch damp so that it dries nicely, and after im completely dry (a few mins later) baby lotion. It is very soothing %26amp; my skin looks like milk :)Creams to use on belly for itching?
You can use only olive oil if you want. Sounds funny but my grandmother told me to and it works. AND I have no stretch marks at all to top it off.
ive had terrible itching the doctor told me to use calamine lotion its the only thing thats helped i tried allot of normal lotions %26amp; still itched
Cocoa butter cream from Palmers will work. If you can find a Vitamin E oil that will help as well.

Women only please. I get bad itching down there the week before I am due on. I have tried all the creams etc?
and nothing helps. I have been tested for thrush and STDs and isn't that either. I saw on a different site that you can be allergic to your own discharge! Does anyone know how I could treat the itching without creams?Women only please. I get bad itching down there the week before I am due on. I have tried all the creams etc?
Read this similar question that was posted on NetDoctor. It suggests there may be a hormonal reason, although the lady who asked the question has the problem the week before you.

I know this may seem stupid - but do you iron the gusset part of the knickers.
a week before you come on - your body (hormones) is changing because the lining of the womb is about to come away - at this time down there can get sensitive, i used to have a similar problem, the doctor told me that a normal wash does not always kill bacteria - but the hot heat from the iron does. i use fem fresh wash for sanitation - and you can get it for sensitivity.
Thats weird.Do u have any discharge?I dont mean to sound like a perv but, where exaclty does it itch?It all depends if u have hair too. for example, I shave daily but if I dont shave everyday I will be itching by the 4th day.Its so accustomed to not have hair.. Anyway, u might want to get a papsmear or to Gynecologist to check you..you might be growing some kind of bacteria like Vaginitis..Its not an StD or anything, its something like a yeast infection. Alot of women get it..
Some woman leave the pubic hair alone and it can get tangled, smelly when you are coming close to your period. Why not cut back the hedge, this may keep it more cleaner longer and easier to manage. Try trim it as short as possible and even, make sure you sterilise the scissors and be care-full
I GET THEM QUITE ALOT TOO. IM ALWAYS ITCHING. BUT I DONT GET PERIODS ANYMORE BECAUSE IM ON THE INJECTION.
IVE ONLY RECENTLY STARTED TO ITCH AND THAT WAS AFTER I USED HAIR REMOVAL CREAM DOWN THERE. REGRET IT AND I WANT TO KNOW A SOLUTION TO STOP IT TOO.
i use femwash for the intimate area and it helps. soap can and perfume can irritant the area.

Can using aqueous cream bp when its past its use by date have side effects such as dry skin, itching etc?
Hi,
A couple of days ago, I used some aqueous cream b.p on my face that I had been prescribed in 2006. I had had some rough skin and didn't think anything of using the cream since it had been prescribed for a dry rash on my arm previously and had cleared that up no problems. The day after I used the cream on my face I woke up with very dry skin, almost scaley, and its also very itchy. (AAGH). Its all over my face, and down my neck. Exactly where I used the cream, so I was wondering if it could have this effect, especially since youre meant to use it within 3 months of opening, and its been around 2 years. I'm hopefully going to see my doctor tomorrow, but its so hard to get an appointment. Needless to say, I'm not looking forward to walking around my college looking like ';The thing';. =(
I do have a pet rat, and regularly wear makeup, but I doubt its either of those, I have had my rat for months, and almost always wear foundation, so its likely its the aqueous cream. Help! xCan using aqueous cream bp when its past its use by date have side effects such as dry skin, itching etc?
aqueous cream is best used in the shower or bath mix it with the water then put it on ur face. its likely the foundation can cause dry skin if u use it too much u should use a hypoallergenic foundation it works better for ur skin.

If I only have vaginal itching on the inside, AND outside, could I just buy the vaginal cream and spread it?
Like sread it on the outside and inside?
Would that make the itching stop? Because I think I have a yeast infection, but I only have itching. So would that heal everything up? I'll eat yogurt, too!
Oh, and I know I can put it on the inside, but can I put it in the inside, too? I have the Monistat antifungal cream thing. And if I can't put it inside my vagina, what do I do?
And can I put it in my uretha?
Thanks. :)If I only have vaginal itching on the inside, AND outside, could I just buy the vaginal cream and spread it?
You can rub it over the urethral opening but not actually inside the uretha. Plain yogurt (particularly active cultures) can also restore your natural pH balance if you run out of Monistat. Do NOT douche!!! You may also want to drink cranberry juice for urinary health and switch to cotton underwear in the meantime, until your symptoms clear. Please do not hesitate to see a doctor if the itching doesn't go away after self-treatment.If I only have vaginal itching on the inside, AND outside, could I just buy the vaginal cream and spread it?
Cream is only for the outside.
You may need the Canesten with the pill thing that is inserted inside.
Ask someone at the pharmacy which would be best. Try washing with Summer's Eve and letting the air to it. Dont wear tight panties. You can also put plain yogurt in there. Sounds gross but you can dip a tampon in it and freeze and insert. Other idea would be to go to the doctors and get on antibiotics.
You need to see your doctor, unless it's a yeast infection that you've had and treated yourself before. I don't think the monistat will help outside your vag, try some hydrocortisone or benadryl cream. Benadryl is great for itching, take a 25mg tab (may cause drowsiness) and use some of the benadryl cream as well.
Some creams go inside,
but the cream is inserted by a tube,
just the same as the vaginal pill .
Just go get the pills,
I've heard they work alot better .
once the 7 days or whatever you choose are up,
you feel a whole lot better = )
take care of yourself = ) .
hope that helped
You should use the Monistat applicator, that'll place the cream ball inside to stop the infection. Use the cream on the outside. Eat yogurt with live active cultures in it. You'll be alright.
Don't put anything in your urethra unless it's done so by a doctor.
Go to Dr... they can give you a Rx for this one little pill that will take it away... Treat it cause if you don't it could develop into something worse.....
I tried the Yogurt thing... Doesn't work well.. and not very pleasant to deal with.... Seriously... Or.. you could try one of those Applicator 3 day things......
For a yeast infection you should see a doctor. I doubt antifungal cream would do much, and it may cause irritation.
They say plain yogurt works for inside.
Yuck. Go to a doctor.
WoW why dont u just clean ur pu$$y daily
if it says not for external use, then dont put it inside
sure
yes u can spread it on the surface where it itches..i just got over a yeast infection..the shiit is annoying!!!
I took Clindamycin vaginal cream for a bacterial infection and now have itching (vag.) and mucus in my stool??
My doctor apparently doesn't care about me. I am 10 weeks pregnant and developed a vaginal bacterial infection. He gave me a 1 dose treatment of Clindamycin cream to insert into the vagina. After I used it I developed fevers almost everyday after and then 1 week later developed severe vaginal itching. I VISITED MY DOCTOR THAT SAME DAY 1 week later. He said if there was something wrong with me it wasn't related and I should go to a general doctor (not him as he is OB/GYN), DESPITE the new vaginal itching.
That was yesterday and today I have green mucus in my stool. I know how to read. It clearly states that rare but potentially serious side effects of the clidamycin cream include vaginal itching, secondary infection, and mucus in your stool.
He will no longer be my doctor, but what should I do right now? It is Saturday and my lovely neighborhood ER refuses to advise on if you should be seen or not (I'm assuming to avoid lawsuits).
I took Clindamycin vaginal cream for a bacterial infection and now have itching (vag.) and mucus in my stool??
You could go to the ER or you could go to urgent care. Either way you will be able to see a doctor at least. Most of the time these side effects are not life threatning unless they say they are. I had to take that stuff before on my third pregnancy I developed a bacterial infection. You probably have a yeast infection. You should go to the store and get the vagisil or whatever brand it is for over the counter care.
I developed a yeast infection for the first time after using this stuff. But alls you have to do is request a new doctor when you call to set up an appointment. I took Clindamycin vaginal cream for a bacterial infection and now have itching (vag.) and mucus in my stool??
I took the same cream for a bacterial infection of the vagina. After using it I did get a lil bit of vaginal itching and my OB was absolutely okay with advising me on treatment. I don't know why yours wouldn't be. Don't use my solution (he told me in some cases it can cause a yeast infection, which I got monistat 3 that comes with stuff like vagisil for itching).
I am almost positive you are having an allergic reaction to it. Go ahead and go to the ER. Most likely they will have an OB check you because this is in the area of expertise of an OB. Kudos on getting a new doc. I wouldn't put up with that if I were you either.
Good Luck.
Just remember go to the ER. Your side effects are consistent with a serious adverse reaction.

How can itching be prevented after using hair removal creams?
i get itching after removing hair from under arms and pelvic region using the hair removal creams.....what causes itching(the skin becomes too sensitive)...........and what alternatives should i useHow can itching be prevented after using hair removal creams?
i know you won't like this answer but you shouldn't use the cream in you pelvic area if it makes you itch. it is very easy to get an infection because the area is dark and moist. (unless you always go naked and don't perspire), have you tried different creams? if so look for something organic. ( i doubt if there is an organic hair removal cream) do be careful. maybe you could ask a dermatologist for suggestions. hopefully one is reading your question.

Itching...lots of it...arms, hands, legs, groin, beltline. Any suggestions? Is there an OTC Cream I can buy?
I'm going to the derm. soon, but is there a cream that can help with some relief? I've washed sheets, stopped taking some new vitamins...any thoughts as to what it could be? It's not the sun or something I ate...it's been happening, worsening for four or five weeks...thanks in advance for any help? The ScratcherItching...lots of it...arms, hands, legs, groin, beltline. Any suggestions? Is there an OTC Cream I can buy?
Have you tried switching your laundry soap? Or the soap you are bathing with?
Could be as simple as that.
Change your soaps and see what happens. Also keep your derm appointment.
Good luck.Itching...lots of it...arms, hands, legs, groin, beltline. Any suggestions? Is there an OTC Cream I can buy?
Try Aveeno cream which is sold at Walmart and take Benadryl allergy tablets every 4 hours. It is an anti-histamine which helps stop your body from producing histamine and if you can stand the smell of vinegar put some in your bath water.
Anti- itch cream available at Walgreens. The ones that contain hydrocortisone are best. Avoid those dryer sheets like bounce. Use a good 5.5 PH bar soap like Caress, less drying, use moisturizing cream daily, get a hypoallergenic one at a health store. My husband and I get that every year at this time. I think it might be a form of seasonal allergy. He uses ice on it to help but I find the anti-itch cream works best.
You need to go see a doctor. This sounds serious. This seems to be internally caused and so a cream does not seem like the rightremedy at this time.
it could be scabies, because they appear where you're having problems. It's worse at night. There's no way to stop scabies unless you see a dr, so he/she can prescribe some permethrin (pesticide used on humans). And scabies is contagious...if you have it you could have gotten it from someone and then you can pass it on, so make sure whomever you've had close contact with knows that you have it, so they can get checked out by the dr. too. Good luck!
If it's that bad maybe you should go to the er and they may have an on call dermatologist.
If you have what looks like little trails on your skin it could be scabies... If so.. scratching actually helps it. Try camphophenique (spelling?) or an oatmeal bath to help any other itching. I always like that better than hydro-cortisone creams. It could be dang near anything.. not sure about a remedy unless I know what it looks like.
check your liver
Is it something new that's happening to you? Check what it is that you are doing different - could be a new soap, shampoo, detergent... artificial additives in food can trigger itchiness too, particularly artificial colourings.
Even fruit juices and soft drinks are loaded with dyes - ultimately you are the best judge of what it is that's causing your allergy.
I hope your doc helped!
Hydrocortizone Cream 1% sold at any pharmacy about 3.99
OTC hydrocortisone, and oral Benadryl
Just check with the pharmacist first to make sure those meds are okay for you
It's important to know the source in order to recommend the best treatment which you will hopefully get from the derm. In the meantime, you can take benadryl (diphenhydramine) 50mg up to 4 times a day. It will make you sleepy though. Steroid creams are the best like hydrocortisone applied to the area. Both are available over the counter.
Itchy Skin Relief
Skincare Tip
I don't think there is anything worse than itchy skin, but luckily there are some simple treatments. Here's a simple solution to itchy skin.
1. Pour one cup of apple cider vinegar into a tub of warm water. The itchiness should be calmed down nicely.
2. Oatmeal is often an ingredient in bath products and its ability to soothe itchy skin is one of the reasons.
3. Does anyone remember Calamine Lotion? I was a child who contantly found every clump of poison ivy and this lotion often came to my rescue.
4. Sometimes all it takes is an application of an unscented lotion to cool the itch.
5. Did you know that wet baking soda will also stop an itch in its tracks? There is simply something about the cold, wet soda that always does the trick

I feel itching around my lower parts. Please advise some good lotion or cream.?
I think you should see your gynecologist to get an accurate diagnosis. This could be simply a minor irritation that can be dealt with an over the counter item or you might need a doctor's prescription. Good Luck!I feel itching around my lower parts. Please advise some good lotion or cream.?
Are you a girl or boy? If a girl vaginal cream is good, stops the itching and burning and if a guy you better get to your doctor no matter, it could be something worse than what you think it is and could get worse with no treatment.I feel itching around my lower parts. Please advise some good lotion or cream.?
gosh. sam could be a boy or girls name. Well if you are either sex, make sure you don't have crabs, that's something different all together. Jock itch, you can get remedies at the pharmacy, says for jock itch right on it. If you are a girl, might be yeast infection, which you can get at the pharmacy also. However, if whether you are a male or female, and you don't know what it is, go see a dr.
if you got herpes, they're no cures. please don't spread it.

This docter gave me some cream for my hand because it itches he said it was a fungal thing on my hand?
the cream is Clotrimazole and Betamethasone what is this cream and what does it do for me
because i am trying to go in the military but one docter said i had eczema but the cream he gave me dident work but the cream that i have now that is the Clotimazole and Bethamethasone worked so what do you think it is a fungal thing or eczema on my hand and it doesent itch anymore since i took that medicineThis docter gave me some cream for my hand because it itches he said it was a fungal thing on my hand?
When you have eczema, sometimes you can have other additional skin ailments due to itching your skin too much as a result of Eczema.
The Eczema makes you itch; your nails break the integrity of your fragile, eczema striken skin and you get other opportunistic skin infections. Perhaps that is what happened in your case. The bethamethasone is a steroid cream that was probably ordered to relieve your eczema.
Clotrimazole is an antifungal cream, which was ordered to treat the fungal infection on your skin. So, the itching probably started with your eczema, then you got the fungal infection on top of the eczema. You are no longer itching because both medications are working for you. Count your blessings and thank your doctor; those creams don't work for everyone with those ailments so you are lucky.
Eczema and a fungal infection should not prevent you from joining the military. This docter gave me some cream for my hand because it itches he said it was a fungal thing on my hand?
clotrimazole is used for fungal infections such as ringworm (not really worms). If this new medicine is working, chances are you do have a fungal infection and not exzema. A fungal infection would not bar you from miliary service.
Good Luck in the military!

time to go to the doctor, you may have something that is not jock itch. I hate to say it: but if you are sexually active, you could have an STI.
Go to the doctor even if you aren't having sex, you could just need medication a little stronger.Jock itch isnt getting better i have used creams and spray!!!?
Be careful with advise. I understand you are desperate to get relive but considering we are talking about your private parts I would be very careful what you put on there. Go to the doctor. This is truly the only way to get safe relieve. Good luck.
Have you tried salicylic acid? That will burn at first but it does the job. Get that at the drug store.
Make sure your wearing 100% cotton underwear,
no sexy nylon crap. been there done that!
Here, I'll srcatch it for you.

you need to keep it dry, don't use any creams. any white deodorant/antiperspirant stick actually does a good job. your skin just needs to get used to it, keep it up. guys really appreciate a clean shave
i never used any creams but nair i think has some cream for especially that. you just have to get use to it. the more you shave the less it will itch.
doesn't even itch at all for me.
Definitely Aveeno. It is the best product on the market for itchy dry skin.

I have chronic itching bottom and vulva and I've tried all sorts of lotions and creams.?
It seems to be caused by the slightest of chafing with pants or panties. Any treatment must be perfume and dye free. I've had it checked out by the dermatologist and they've given me Rx Clobetasol (which you can only use once in a while as it thins the skin). I've used Vagisil too but this does cause occasionally burning Any ideas? Please no jokes or telling me to go to the doctor (I've been). Thanks!I have chronic itching bottom and vulva and I've tried all sorts of lotions and creams.?
Don't put talcum powder near your genitals. There is a recent study to say that it increases cancer risk.
Take some anti histamine tablets to start with. Take a bath with oatmeal in it.
Wear only pure cotton white panties.
Dry with a very soft towel.
Don't sleep in panties most of the time.I have chronic itching bottom and vulva and I've tried all sorts of lotions and creams.?
Yeast infections don’t go away easily; its one of the most annoying medical conditions one can have with numerous symptoms. Its difficult to treat since there is no universal candida yeast infection cure that works for everyone. Combine that with the fact that majority of people are looking for herbal, all natural treatments, and you are left with very few over the counter options.
One over the counter treatment for candida yeast infection that has become popular lately is Yeastrol. If you have never heard of a Yeastrol, here is a short intro.
Its an natural homeopathic relief formula which has shown to be very effective but a long term treatment approach is needed to get cured of yeast infection. Yeastrol works for mild %26amp; severe oral, penile, or vaginal yeast infection.
Which Medications to avoid:
An important thing that needs your attention if you are looking for male or female yeast infection treatment is that there are many products in the market claiming cure in hours or days. Avoid such marketing pitches, at most these claimed yeast infection cures can relieve you of your symptoms for a short period of time. And sooner than later Candida yeast infection returns with more severe symptoms or signs.
You may recognize a useless otc treatment for yeast infection by its boasts of being a natural yeast infection cure. There is no yeast infection medication currently available that is able to cure yeast infection in days. Cure for yeast infection is only possible with long term treatment which kills the root cause i.e. Candida Albicans.
have you tried canesten H with added hydrocortisone as that reduces the swelling and itch and then the underlying thrush if present, can be cured and banished for good. Have you been treated for possible diabetes? I think a gentle dusting with Johnsons baby powder after a shower daily is gentle enough for a baby so try it on your self and see if it gentle soothes you. And hope you feel better soon take care.
Ew.. maybe you should get some kind of yeast infection application. not the cream , like the one with those applicators you insert that you see in the pharmacy, monistate ya
you could have a urine infection - cystits maybe or thrushopera

Ew.. maybe you should get some kind of yeast infection application. not the cream , like the one with those applicators you insert that you see in the pharmacy, monistate ya
you could have a urine infection - cystits maybe or thrush

I read on yahoo that deodorant works good and I tried it. It actually does work pretty good. The sunburn itch is the worst!!
Sarna, it is an itch lotion. Can be purchased at drug stores or grocery stores. Or use refridg. aloe gel.
Try Aloe Vera with lidocaine in it. They sell it at most drug store, but make sure it has lidocaine in it.

I have no discharge or smell, its just really annoying.. ive been putting A%26amp;D on it but it doesnt do much.Vaginal burning/itching relief creams.. which one?
Canesten. I know it's for yeast infections but it works great for the symptoms you're describing.Vaginal burning/itching relief creams.. which one?
I would wait it out because usually if you had like a yeast infection you would have a fishy smell and discharge. What you have could just be a reaction to the scented panty liner.
Try diaper rash cream. It is great for any area of the body that is itchy or heat rash. It is also very gentle on the skin.
If you were wearing tight clothes for a while you could have got thrush (yeast infection), so I'd try getting medication for that rather than general vaginal creams.
Neither me or anybody else I know has got smelly or abnormal discharge btw, so don't rule out thrush because you haven't got that.
Just wash with a mild soap and rinse well...leave it alone for a while...AND stop using scented liners....
I wouldn't put anything on it, it's just an alergic type reaction, not an infection.
If need be just pick any cream but to be honest I wouldn't mess about and probably make things worse.
Just go in a bath with warm water and no soap.

So enjoy hair!!!!!!!!nba teams

I have used veet sensitive hair removal cream to remove pubic hair twice and always get spots and itching.?
some of these spots have 'puss' which I can clean up using a warm press but I thought it was only shaving that causes irritation, I dont have an allergy to this product but would like to get good results. Also I'd like to be smooth for more than 1 day which is all this treatment lasts for before I get stubble. I don't want to use wax...please advise??I have used veet sensitive hair removal cream to remove pubic hair twice and always get spots and itching.?
I personally feel that area down there is too sensitive for those creams, and razor are kind of dangerous too, why don't you buy yourself a buzz cutter, it cuts all the hair and it leaves you silky smooth without the razor burn.
Nair and veet burn the skin, if you don't believe me well try this put a drop of Nair or Veet on a small area of your face. Its going to burn the skin and its going to hurt a lot. This is comparable to putting it on your pubic area since both your face and you pubic area are very sensitive.I have used veet sensitive hair removal cream to remove pubic hair twice and always get spots and itching.?
The best way to have least trouble is to trim your hair extremely short before using any method of getting rid of those hair, u can try veet's mild version if u see at the drugstore, also shaving should not be a problem if you don't stroke against the hair growth. . and try not to keep the creme removals for more than 3-4 mins ..
for the itching, apply ice and use an after shave (antiseptic purposes)
and try keeping it as dry as possible, baby powder is the best way to do so.
hope that helps!
There is sulphur in it which is bound to be bad for your skin. There is a company called Skinmedica that produces stuff that is not sulphur based. The hair doesn't come off imediately but the effect lasts.

If you use scented products down there (feminine sprays, wipes, anything) stop immediately. If you use Charmin toilet paper, switch to another brand immediately. If you take baths instead of showers, or use bubble bath, you need to stop immediately. You can try the 7 day over the counter yeast infection treatments, use Vagisil maximum strength for the itching, and see if your symptoms clear up in the 7 day period. If you are still having problems, you should go see a gynocologist. Also, try taking concentrated cranberry capsules, wear only cotton panties, use unscented laundry detergent and no bleach when you wash your panties, and don't wear tight fitting clothes. If you use tampons, switch to pads until your symptoms are cleared up.
Diflucan is used to treat thrush (candida) infection so you have had 2 treatments for yeast infection.
You need to see your GP or nurse and have vaginal swabs taken to see what is going on. There are other infections (not STDs) that can cause itching and discharge.
If you have a partner he needs treatment for thrush too as he can pass the infection back to you if it is thrush that you have.
I HAD THE SAME THING TOO! I HAD TO WEAR WHITE COTTON PANTIES, DRINK CRANBERRY. PUT LOTS OF COLD WATER DOWN THERE, AND IT WAS THE TOILET PAPER THAT I WAS USING TOO!
KEEP YOUR VAGINAL AREA DRY! IT WILL HELP!!!

What are some creams I can use to stop my stomach from itching?
My stomach's itchy most of the time, what are some creams that are good to stop the itch %26amp; help prevent scretch marks? What are some creams I can use to stop my stomach from itching?
best thing to use is coco butter but if your mom got stretch marks u might not be able to avoid them. What are some creams I can use to stop my stomach from itching?
take an oatmeal bath
I am 31 weeks pregnant and have no stretch marks. I am not sure if it is due to the cream I am using, but I suggest using Palmer's Cocoa Butter Massage for Stretch Marks. This lotion isn't too greasy, it dries up pretty quickly, making it easy to get dressed right after applying the lotion and not feeling sticky or uncomfortable, like most body lotions do. Using this lotion, and drinking lots of water to keep you hydrated helps.
why is this q in the parenting section?
cocoa butter for itching- but i think stretch marks are genetic more than anything- i put a ton of lotion on my belly with my 1st pregnancy i still have a ton of them
Cocoa Butter, or try fresh Aloe Vera from the supermarket.

What natural creams or lotions can stop my genital warts from itching?
I know I can't get rid of HPV forever. I got that part. What I really need to know is how do I deal with the itching in the anus area? What natural creams or lotions can stop my genital warts from itching?
if you really want to get rid of genital warts forever then you should know that you can remove genital warts by surgery, freezing, laser, acid or cream but genital warts can reappear again and again because genital warts appears when your immune system is weak!
HPV is the virus that causes genital warts. People can be infected with HPV and never show any symptoms. Others will develop genital warts. These warts can stay the same size, grow, or go away on their own. It largely depends on the infected person's immune system. A healthy immune system means your body may be able to suppress the virus and not show symptoms.
Even after the warts go away, the person will always remain infected with HPV. That person can spread the virus even without showing symptoms.
so you must build up your immune system because your body can get rid of genital warts by itself if your immune system will be strong! so eat more healthy food, more vitamins and more sport activities! (No smoking, no beer/ale, no booze, no drugs, no junk food, no fast food garbage, no sugary sweet soda's. Get on a good, balanced, healthy diet including plenty of boiled or steamed vegetables.
Drink P L E N T Y O F W A T E R , fruit juices %26amp; fat free milk. Snack on lots of RAW fruit %26amp; veggies. Get up one hour early every morning %26amp; take a BRISK 30 minute walk - then - do the same thing again in the evening after dinner. Make sure you eat a good, balanced breakfast daily. You get your energy for the day from your breakfast meal. Get 8 hours sleep each night. Flip your mattress over so it will level out to give you a good night's rest. Slack off too much coffee %26amp; tea) also you must use herbal treatment because you can not always live 100% healthy...!!!
in that case Wartrol is really good (probably the best) product that gets rid of genital warts comparatively fast and makes you feel more confident knowing that they wont reappear again! It works by stimulating your immune system to fight the HPV virus that causes the warts. of course it is better if you use full course (5 months - if I remember correctly).
It worked and still works for me!
I do not know if any pharmacies carry Wartrol but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here
http://thehpvvirus.blogspot.com/2009/02/鈥?/a>
The advantage of Wartrol over other natural treatments for genital warts is that, since it is taken orally, it also acts on invisible and internal genital warts that CAN NOT BE treated by other creams and natural remedies.
good luck!

If cortisol cream isnt doing it, it probably isn't an allergy. It might just take a while to go away, just keep on using it and eating good omega fats in your diet to help aid skin healing.

You are itching because the pubic hair is trying to grow back in. What may happen next is razor bumps and ingrown hairs that will produce pus and bumps. It is not a good idea to shave there. Why are you doing that?
No sex. No STDs for sure. You can't get them without sexual activity.
I recommend warm baths and try some carborated vasoline. The vasoline looks brown. You might even want to try something like Neosporin, to keep the razor bumps from getting infected. Be careful not to get either inside the vaginal walls. Wear cotton panties. Nylon doesn't breathe and the tiny hairs will cling to it and pull; causing more discomfort.
Again, no sex, no pregnancy either. It is normal for a period or two to be delayed in a girl who just started her periods. It takes time for the cycle to be regulated.
Shaving is for the bikini line only. STOP SHAVING all your pubic hair.
its from shaving- i tried shaving but it itched and so i tried to wax it instead- feels a lot better and stays longer too. It may leave red bumps for a day or two but it will be better after.
it sounds like the hair follicles being irritated after shaving.let the hair grow back a little, wash with aqueous cream as it will soothe the itching.
Could be worms or crabs. Make sure to clean that area thoroughly everyday and change underwear everyday.
Look up more on these bugs to see if the symptoms match yours.
About the period, it may take years to become regular. Be patient. Girls may start and have a few then stop until they're 16. I'ts just a weird process.
it sounds like you have thrush ,dont worry ,most women have it at some point in the life ,it nothing to be embarrest about ,all you need to do is go to your logal chemist and get some cream or you can get duo's of cream and tablet .
hope this helps ,good luck and dont worry .xxx
Sounds like you've got thrush hun. It's just something that happens when you wear tight underwear, wash down there with strong scented stuff or you shave (no hair = less protection). You should try vagisil - it stops you from itching. But even better is something called Caniston Duo - this has a pill for the internal infection and some cream to provide instant relive. You should stay away from things wiht vitamin c in them too, try drinking LOTS of water too.
Hope this help.
Hi.
My wife gets that (she also shaves and does not have an std).
If in the UK go to Boots and get something called ''Intimate Care Feminine Wash'', it's Boots own brand.
Seems to work wonders, she is a much happier woman since using it (and yeah, she used to make me stand in-front of her while she scratched!)
Also, if you have an odour, it helps with that to.
Good luck kid, and trust me, it works.
Try baby oil after shaving, it might help with that. The itching could be from the shaving, and when the hair regrows it does itch.
It could also be a yeast type infection. Try over the counter monistat or something like that. They also have a moist towlette you can use at school to help with the itching.
But if the itching continues too much longer you need to talk to your mom and or go to the doctor
it is most likely to be related to the shaving. its a very sensitive area. regrowth is itchy at the best of time, but if you have ingrown hairs it can be really uncomfortable.
This was caused by you shaving. I was like that when I first started doing it. When I first shaved my legs it itched me like crazy.
Shaving can cause the itching. This is quite common. You could try trimming the hair rather than shaving and you likely wouldn't have the itching. If you still want to shave the area, go to the drugstore and look in the area with the hair removal products. There will be some products there that you can put on after waxing or shaving. This will help stop the itching. But if it continues, you'd be best to just trim the area really short rather than shave it..
Shaving will cause itching. if its actually ..... *inside* then its thrush.
Sorry, Im a guy.
Most likely to be shaving. Stop shaving and wait a week or so, see if it calms down. Try a moisturiser or something.
Why did you shave???Fashion???..who's going to see? Let it grow, It'll get back to normal.
hey, I think you can go to some herpes info site to find more answers . there is a herpes site http://www.stdromance.com
If the itching is that bad...then its probably vaginal thrush. You can get canesten vaginal pessaries(tablets)...read the instruction and use it.It could also be because of shaving...but it should not cause so much itching...trim hair, dont shave.
If all this does not work...ask ur boyfriend if he has any such symptoms...you will then need to see a GP.In an STD there will also be other symptoms like foul smelling vaginal discharge...so think about it.
I really dont think its something serious,i hope not.
When you shave ';down there';, re-growing hair can be very painful. Try just shaving the edges, on your bikini line.
sounds like you have Thrush
What is thrush?
Vaginal thrush, also called yeast infection or candidiasis, is an overgrowth of yeast that leads to a range of unpleasant symptoms, such as itching and soreness around the vagina. Most women will have thrush at least once during their lives, and many will have more than one episode. But for some women, thrush keeps coming back. Recurrent thrush can affect a woman鈥檚 sex life and self-image, and may be a sign of a more serious health problem. Even if you only have thrush once, it can be extremely uncomfortable. And, if you don鈥檛 know what is happening or why, it can also be very stressful. This online leaflet explains what thrush is, what causes it, how to treat it and what you can do to help prevent it in the future.
Thrush is caused by yeast, already present in the body, which grows out of control. This yeast is almost always Candida albicans, but another, more resistant yeast, Candida glabrata, can also lead to thrush.
Many women, (as well as men and children) carry yeast in and on their bodies without any problems. Yeast usually lives in the intestines, vagina, mouth and skin, where 鈥榝riendly鈥?bacteria help keep yeast levels low. When this balance is disrupted, however, and the yeast is allowed to grow unchecked, it causes havoc in the body.
The vagina is one of the areas most likely to be affected by thrush. Although the vagina is generally too acidic for yeast to grow out of control, it is sensitive to small changes and can easily become an ideal environment for yeast to flourish. Too much yeast irritates the vaginal tissues and this leads to the typical symptoms of thrush.
Symptoms
The telltale signs of thrush include itching, burning, soreness, swelling of the vagina and vulva (outer area of the vagina), and a yeasty-smelling discharge. You may have one symptom or several, and symptoms can range from mild to severe.
Itching and burning
These are the most common symptoms of thrush and often the most distressing. Burning and itching can be so intense it is difficult to resist scratching, but scratching will only make the problem worse.
Soreness, swelling and pain
Thrush irritates the delicate tissue of the vagina and genital area, making it sore, swollen and red. As a result, it may be painful to urinate (urine will sting the inflamed tissue). It may also be painful to have sex. In some cases, anything that touches or rubs the area, including sitting and walking, can be painful.
Discharge
Discharge caused by thrush is usually (but not always) white and thicker than a woman鈥檚 regular discharge. The 鈥榯ypical鈥?discharge linked to thrush is yoghurt-like in appearance and smells strongly of yeast. Some women, however, have a watery or mild-smelling discharge. The amount can also vary from a little to a lot.
treatment either comes in oral form or cream and is avaiable from chemists and suermarkets
Itching 'inside' could be thrush , you could try natural yoghurt,
itching 'outside' ? razor rash? use a moisturize or baby oil or something....
best thing to do is ask your mum - if thrush there are also things you can take, but at 14, you shoul really talk to an adult before you just try them out.
good luck sweetie!
It's thrush, get some cannesten from the chemist, you can get it in cream form, pessary or a tablet, talk to the pharmacist
You have probably got a shaving rash. Why are you shaving down there anyway, who's going to see it? I wouldn't bother if i were you, you will have all that to deal with when you're older and have a partner, i'd just make the most of being natural and lazy while you can! You may even have thrush, especially if you're using soap/ shower gel for the shaving, it will have upset the pH balance of your vagina, allowing the fungus to grow. Do you have white cheesy discharge? If so it is most likely thrush, and you should get some anti-fungal treatment like a canesten pessary from the chemist. You can also get canesten or other creams which contain mild anaethestics to help with the pain and itching. Hope that helps.
MM
Trust me hun its the shaving! Thats why i stopped shaving down there and started going for the neat trimmed look instead, its alot less painful!!!
It is probibly a ph imbalance that causes the itch... For me it gets really bad the week before my period...
It also helps to add baking soda and salt to your bath tub and soak for a while. Use about 1/4 of a small box of baking soda... It is cheep, under $1.00 a box... and you can't use too much.
Go to your local pharmacy, go to the tampon/feminin care isle, and look for porducts that have Benzocain as the main ingredient.
Benzocain is a topical numbing agent.
Vagicil is one brand...
If you have a Target or Walmart around it is MUCH cheeper then buying from a real pharmacy.
Get the ';Extra Strength'; stuff because you need to use a LOT less and it will last you a lot longer for the same price as the ';Normal'; kind...
The Normal kind is 5% benzocain and the extra strength stuff is 20%.
Each tube (at a pharmacy) is about $6.00 but it is only about $2.00 a tube at Walmart.
Just make sure you don't get a ';Fungicide';. That is for Yeast Infections and you don't have a yeast infection... It won't do anything.
What your talking about is NORMAL... Don't be imbarased...
We ALL get it....
dont panic. firstly dont use perfumed soaps etc. go to the chemist and get canestan as it may well be thrush which is very very common and the bain of a lot of womens lives.
If this diesnt help go to your gp they have seen it all and will not make you feel silly
It sounds to me like it is because of the hairs growing back.
If i was you i would shave the area again and see if it stops until it starts to regrow again.
Another thing you could try is going to Boots and getting some Savlon or another antiseptic skin healing equivilant. It might sting a little at first but it will sooth the itching and promote healing.
Another thing - STOP SCRATCHING IT! :P
I really don't think it is anything serious.
It might be thrush, if it is the inner skin that is itchy and not where your hairs grow. You should eb abe to buy some cream in a chemist without your parents also.
If it is the top of your important little place that itching - that's just the hairs growing back. You would be better to use an elecric shaver like a ladyshave as it really doesn't itch at all when it grows back. Or you could wax - but I wouldn't as it hurts like hell! If you are talking about the undercarriage then it sounds like a couple of things to me. You could have a bout of thrush (which we all get from time to time). Buy some Canestan cream or pessaries it works brilliantly and is available over the counter. Another good cream is Lanacane also very soothing. A good natural remedy is live natural yoghurt which you put onto a tampon and insert. It is so cool and soothing. (A little tip - dont be too warm in that area-cotton undies, and when at home no knickers under your skirt until it's better). All these remedies tried and tested by me. Hope they help!:) Could also be caused by allergy to products such as soap, soap powder, bubble baths. Leave well alone!
You need Canesten cream from the chemist. You have thrush.

Itching and slight discharge...I got a prescribed cream for yeast infection. Didn't work. Tried Dulfican.?
It still itches. Not as much, tho. What do I do?
By the way, do you think I still have an infection, or do you think it's gone, with just a little bit of irritation.
It itches in my vagina, and around my clitorisItching and slight discharge...I got a prescribed cream for yeast infection. Didn't work. Tried Dulfican.?
I'm not sure if you are saying you tried Diflucan or if you are asking if we tried Diflucan. For me Diflucan is the only thing that works for yeast infections. It does stay in your system for 7 days and you don't really start feeling it work until about 12 hours after you take it. But to me creams just irritate and burn you more than the actual infection. Also a good tip (I know it's gonna sound silly) is to blow dry it. Yeast harbors from wetness and using towels are a good way to get yeast because you don't know whats on them. Whenever I feel yeasty and wet I use the blow dryer (doctor recommended) and it really does help. Also don't wear tight pants and only wear cotton panties. A couple of doctors have even told me not to wear panties to let it air out but it takes getting used to. There is a topical cream that my doctor gives as well called Nystatin and Triamcinolone Acetonide cream, it is a prescription. You put a very small amount on your finger then rub you thumb and finger together to remove excess then rub it onto the lips of your vagina. It is not to be used internally and a little goes a long way. This will help with the Diflucan til it kicks in and it also prevents the infections from coming on when you first feel like you are getting one. I could not live without this cream. Good luck, hope you feel better soon.Itching and slight discharge...I got a prescribed cream for yeast infection. Didn't work. Tried Dulfican.?
How long have you been on the medication? Did you call your Dr. or his Nurse and ask how long it should take to clear up? Do some research on the INTERNET about the medication and find out how long it takes to clear up... Just make another appointment to go see your Dr.
about it you can find information from the following website

Why do women have to use a cream for feminine itching? Is this another ploy to stop us scratching our balls?
OMG! Are you freakin' serious? Why do women have to use a cream for feminine itching? Is this another ploy to stop us scratching our balls?
C.P;
The reason that women have to use a cream for ';Feminine Itch'; is simply because of the way that women are anatomically designed. However, this may or may not be another ploy to ';Stop men from scratching their balls';, since both topics are considered ';Taboo'; in decent society. I suggest that you find a open-minded woman that you can be yourself with, and ask her this question that you've presented, and she'll most likely ';enlighten'; you on this topic.
Wishing you the best, including your itchy balls,
