Is there any household remedies for mosquito bites? I have no anti itching creams/ointments.?

put a spritz of hairspray on the bite. it will stop the itch almost immediatelyIs there any household remedies for mosquito bites? I have no anti itching creams/ointments.?
Take a small bowl, some baking soda, and a little bit of cool water. Mix into a paste in the bowl, and then apply the paste to the mosquito bite and leave it on a few minutes. It should help take care of the ';itches';. That's what my mom had us do when we were growing up.

Take care.Is there any household remedies for mosquito bites? I have no anti itching creams/ointments.?
Rubbing alcohol, vinegar, or vinegar, salt, and baking soda. I used the last several times to treat bee stings, and it seems to work.

Good luck!
House hold every day ammonia apply and let dry as many times as needed. Usually just once or twice well do it.
A dab of toothpaste.
Nail polish works everytime...
I have also heard dryer sheets. They also prevent bites because it irritates their feet.
I swab rubbing alcohol on mine. It takes the itch out and makes the swelling go down.
Vinegar
Any antiseptic type of spray or cream will stop the itching. Rubbing with alcohol wipes or vinegar will stop it as well. Once the itching stops dont touch the area if you can, or else the itching will begin again.
rub vinegar on it
Run hot water over them.
PLAIN RUBBING ALCOHOL.

No sign of bites in 12 to 24 hours...................promise.
At summer camp, we use to call it Sister Veronica's Lotion.

We would make a paste of baking soda, vinegar and lemon juice and put it on the bites. A baking soda bath helps take out some of the itch too.
Rub deodorant on it (doctor said so) the regular white kind.
using your thumb nail, push into the bite and make an X across it.

basically make an X mark using pressure from your thumb nail.

it really works. who knows, but we (outdoor workers) do it all the time for a quick fix.

Even though I've put on the yeast infection cream, it still itches..?

I was just wondering..is it supposed to or is it supposed to rid me of the itch as soon as it's on?Even though I've put on the yeast infection cream, it still itches..?
Ideally, the cream or vaginal suppositories start killing the infection immediatelly. Unfortunately, this is rarely the case. As long as the yeast colony is alive and reproducing there's going to be some invasion into the vaginal mucosa - and itching/burning. Check the package for the expected efficiency of the product, some claim to work in 7, 5, 3, or 1 day. Even the 1-day product takes 6-12 hours before you'll start to notice relief. If you've used the cream for it's specified length, and it hasn't worked, go see your doctor. It's possible you have another type of infection, or contracted a more resistant strain. Either way, she'll be able to prescribe something stronger that should help.

    Hope you feel better,

OddEven though I've put on the yeast infection cream, it still itches..?
Cancer go to doter Report Abuse

i no my dad has it Report Abuse

the cream itself does not take care of the itching...at least not right away. takes about a day for it to stop as the yeast starts to die...just deal with it it should be done by the time everyone answers this question.
plain yogurt put it on yourself and take acidophilus tablets
First you should see a doctor and have a culture taken to be sure it is a yeast infection. Over the counter stuff just doesn't always do the trick. It could also be a hormonal problem. If you are low in estogen that can be very nasty and cause much discomfort, eg the itch. If it is a homonal problem it will not go away by itself you will need estrogen cream or tablets, inserted vaginally. This is a very distressing problem and needs a doctors care. Good luck and please don't let it go on, go see your doc.
Try yoghurt. I'm not sure if you eat it, or apply it. Either way is cool.
sometimes it takes a few days for the itch to go away depending on how severe the infection is.

    good luck
Give it some more time. It takes about a week to get rid of a yeast infection. The medicine should relieve the itching within 2-3 days, but continue to use the medicine. Good luck, I know it's no fun.
I once had a yeast infection and the itching lasted for quite some time but with use of the cream it went away. The itching i would say lasted ofr about two weeks and the cream took about 5-10 minutes to work. This was a while ago though probably the mid 90s i'm not sure if there are better products. If you are really worried your best bet is to go to a doctor to clear things up for you.
sometimes it may take a little while.

Why do women have to use a cream for feminine itching? Is this another ploy to stop us scratching our balls?

It's not a ploy....not sure why you'd think it was.

I can't say why we get itchy, but it does happen. Because most women aren't comfortable with scratching their business in public, it's necessary to use a cream. Plus if you keep scratching it, you're eventually going to create an open sore, and that would just plain suck. Why do women have to use a cream for feminine itching? Is this another ploy to stop us scratching our balls?
because hairy balls tend to do this to us. just joking we are internal and its harder to itch. guys are external and this is easier to scratch.

What are the best creams to relieve the itching and redness and scaring associated with shingles?

i had a rash all over the back, shoulder, and chest area. it has been with me for a week and is starting to have scabs, but the itching is still intense. I need to start exercising again, but would like to find a cream that will help prevent scars from forming as the scabs fall off. What are the best creams to relieve the itching and redness and scaring associated with shingles?
I have recommended Capsaicin cream to patients of mine who have had pain/itching follwing shingles. Unfortunately, this postherpetic neuralgia pain can last for some time, so hang in there. What are the best creams to relieve the itching and redness and scaring associated with shingles?
    Sorbelene and Glycerine creme.

It is great for dry and damaged skin, my daughters use it alot because they get exema.

It is not scented so will not irritate.
It really depends on if you tend to develop alot of scar tissue. You can use benadryl cream for the itching, but use Vitamin E oil for scabbing. You may also use 100% pure coco butter. There are not usually deep enough to cause alot of scarring, but again depends on your body.
Call your Dr. spend the cash shingles are not to taken lightly. I learned the hard way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What can i use temporarily for my childs chicken pox itching or creams ?

that i can use for tonite until the morning when i take her to the dr and if she has a full sleep suit on do i have to worry about spreading it to others or is this fine i mean like blankets pillows and what notWhat can i use temporarily for my childs chicken pox itching or creams ?
I would put sox on her hands so she doesnt itch them. and just reassure her to try not to scratch them. Give her a bath in oatmeal (I cant remember if baking soda helped too or not) but you want something that will sooth the itching like calamine lotion. I dont think you would need to take her to the dr unless it gets really bad. Just get something for the itch and keep her home. Unless you really want to pay a doc that is gonna maybe tell you the same thing or give you some script for the itch that you could have bought over the counter anyway. Because chicken pox are a virus the doc usually wont give anything to your child such as antibiotics. But he will if your child scratches them and the sores become infected. Just keep her home and make sure she doesnt scratch The other thing is feed her some bland food nothing to acidic cause she may have them in her mouth as well. What can i use temporarily for my childs chicken pox itching or creams ?
If you have Calamine Lotion or Hydrocortisone maybe it would maybe help with the itching. It's what I put on mine. I also took a bath in oatmeal and it felt pretty good. I'm not sure about the full body suit thing. I would still wash everything afterwards just in case.
Oatmeal. It will get on the sheets, but it won't stain them or anything. Wet some in a sock and use the paste that drips out. If she's showing spots, then she's pretty much over the contagious phase, that happens before they start to show spots. I would keep any other kids you have out of the room, but they've probably already been exposed.
If you don't have aveeno bath soak take some plain oatmeal and have her soak it feels really soothing I would wash every thing with hot water often I think it should be followed up with Calamine lotion and give her some benadryl for peaceful sleep.
Calamine lotion is good, give them a Acetaminophen and pleanty of rest should do.
    calamine lotions help with itching.
aveeno oatmeal bath, and keep the others away but chances are they will end up with it too.
    oatmeal baths.

just put oatmeal in a tub of hot water.

It sounds weird, but it'll sooth her skin.
Have them take a warm bath with baking soda in it it will work promise!

My girlfriend vegina is itching her she want to know what cream or medicine can stop it .?

it pains her when she use bathroom and there is no discharge. My girlfriend vegina is itching her she want to know what cream or medicine can stop it .?
clotrimazol and...yes, yogurt. two days...itch and burning are gone.My girlfriend vegina is itching her she want to know what cream or medicine can stop it .?
She may have a yeast infection, so she needs to see the doctor right away. I know of no cream or meds that can be used in the ';vagina'; for an itching problem.
First of all, it is a VAGINA. With pain during urination and a severe itch, she might have a Urinary Tract Infection. This does not sound like a plain yeast infection that can be ';cured'; with over the counter creams and other products.

If this is a Urinary Tract Infection the symptoms would be: always feeling like you need to urinate but you don't and it is PAINFUL. The itch is just a bonus. DO NOT ITCH and SCRATCH as this will only inflame the problem. One and a very good remedy is CRANBERRY JUICE - 100% Ccranberry juice. Not juicy juice or packets of juice. Bottles of CRANBERRY JUICE and drink at least 8 ounces every hour! This is an old home-remedy and it works.

However, she should really go to a Gynecologist or ';woman's clinic'; and be properly diagnosed.

My sympathies, been there had that, and good health!
She needs to see an MD if it hurts or burns when she pees. A cream will not cure it.
She most probably has a urinary tract infection or a yeast infection. She should see a gynocolgist (doctor for ladies). In the meantime she should try some over the counter medications like Monistat --she may need an antibiotic and if she does she should be eating yogurt for some side effects of antibiotics. In the meantime--no sex.
Vagisil will work if its just an itch. If it still itches after that, then she may have a Yeast Infection, in which case she needs Monistat or something.
use prepararetion H the is the name od the cream, get some medicine for the fungus.is the cream does not help.
She can use Bactroban Cream or she can get a leaf from a aloe vera plant.
she could have a bacterial infection or yeast tell her to get it check i know its a pain but they can tell you right away. And give her somthinhg to ease the itch or pain.
could be an std like herpes or crabs..yeast infections usually come with discharge..i would tell her to go to the doctor!
She needs to go the doctor asap for a diagnosis as these symptoms could mean a variety of things.
vagisil is a temp fix. She should really go the dr though. It could be more serious than a yeast infection

I keep itching down below? and a cream discharge?

I keep itching down below, it gets worse at night times. and it becomes really saw and hurts when i got to wee. im 16 and i am not sexually active. i dont no what it could be. please helpI keep itching down below? and a cream discharge?
It sounds as though you have an infection...it could be a urine infection but if you go to the doctor or see the nurse in the practise they should be able to give you something to sort it out !!!!I keep itching down below? and a cream discharge?
You have a yeast infection that can easily be cured by over the counter meds like Monistat. I prefer the 3 day treatment called monistat 3. I really cures it in 3 days.

Sounding by you symptoms it may have turned into a bladder infection. Treat it with the monistat right away, like today, and if you are still burning when you wee after that you will need to see a doctor for antibiotics.

There are many reasons why you could have gotten it. If you have been on some antibiotics within the past three months it could cause it, or if you sweat a lot recently down there, or if you just have been wearing tight clothes in the heat, or sweat a lot when you sleep.

It is very common and nothing to worry about, but you need to tell a parent about it so they can know what is going on. Especially if you end up needing to go to the doctor, the parent will need to know what it had progressed from.

Good luck and hope you feel better soon.
probably just yeast infection..you can go to walgreen/Longs drugs and buy an over-the-counter cream for that..it should disappear within several days...if not, ask you parents to see an OBGYN for checkup to make sure its nothing more than an infection.

wash yourself with soap and water after using the restroom. avoid using heavy scented soap to wash yourself, if you can, use ivory or dove soap.

sometimes when it hurts to pee, you might just have an urinary infection or bladder infection...avoid drinking sodas at this time and drink lots of water and it should go away within a week

    goodluck
You probably have a yeast infection. you don't necessarily need to be sexually active, you can get it because of several factors such as humidity, tight clothes; You also need to wear cotton underwear not nylon. Buy yourself Monistat 7 or I think they have other new ones. But don't be scared it will go away.
It's an infection, i 'm sure because i had it too. It's nothing serious. Can happen all the time/ PE you 've been taking antibiotics or have been ill recently.

In Europe you can buy ';DAKTARIN'; without prescription at the pharmacist's. It comes in salve, unguent or in little egg shaped dragees that you have to insert...there. It cleans the fungal infection, sooths skin and stops the itching.

If problems persist, go to your doctor and ask her what to do.
hiya it sounds like a yeast infection also know as thrush or candida if you speak to the pharmacist they will recommend something for you to clear it up, i had an oral medication when i had it a few months ago and within 2 days of taking the pill it had gone. i know its extreemly unpleasant but easily sorted
Sounds like a yeast infection, they aren't a big deal. But if you want to make sure, Vagisil makes an over the counter test for yeast, vaginitis, and UTI's. you may want to invest in one of those just to make sure. i think all you have to do is pee on it. and all of those illnesses can be cured otc, or just a trip to the doc for some antibiotics.
you should tell your mum and get a doctor involved (even though its embaressing!!) its not anything serious like HIV or AIDS so dont worry.

just get it checked out and get some medication . it will soon clear up.

otherwise it might just be thrush so try canesten duo
Most likely its a yeast infection. You can get all kinds of things at your local drug store to help with it.Good luck!=)
Sounds like yeast infection. It will go away with treatment. Call your gyno and make an appointment.
Thrush, which is a yeast infection.

Go to a chemist and buy some cannestan.
It's probably a yeast infection. Go to the store, get some Monistat cream, and see a doctor if it doesn't go away.
It's most likely some kind of infection. Go to a doctor or parental unit. They'll help you out.
Try caneston Cream, and Pessaryies.it will help you.
Cover it in natural yoghurt. Don't use a muller fruit corner.
thats probably a yeast infection.... you should get it checked from your doctor..
sounds like yeast. tell your mom and go to the doctor.
    Sounds like thrush
hummm... nothing to be ashamed about; sometimes when people shave down there it itches...
    see a doctor... good luck
you prolly masturbate with dirty hands and now you have some sort of rash

Itching can be caused by a plethora of reasons. Some of the most common causes for itching include -

    Exposure or contact with chemicals.

    Sunburn can cause itching.

    Insect bites or stings.

Certain infectious diseases such as chicken pox cause itching on the skin.

Parasites on the body such as body, head or pubic lice can cause itching.

Itching can be the result of an allergic reaction to certain foods, plants or pets.

Dry skin is a common cause for itching. This is usually seen in older people as aging skin is often dehydrated.

Cold weather, overexposure to water and hot baths typically cause itching.

An unfavorable medication could cause itching as a reaction.

Itching can happen during the later part of pregnancy due to the stretching of the skin especially on the lower abdomen area.

Skin conditions such as Psoriasis, Seborrheic dermatitis, Urticaria, Pityriasis rosea can cause severe itching.........................Take a bath in one can of evaporated milk; you can add other combinations such as oatmeal, baking soda etc. The milk works well to soothe the itching.

Apply Aloe Vera, cod liver oil, lemon juice, vitamin E oil, wheat germ oil, or witch hazel tea to the itchy area.

Take burdock, chickweed, goldenseal, plantain, or yellow dock in capsule form.

Cornstarch helps relieve itching. You can pour some into your bath water or dust it onto your body.

Scrub the affected area lightly with a pumice stone. Then wash with soap, apply rubbing alcohol, and dab a thick layer of Vaseline over it. This will provide relief from itching.

Take a bath with a little peppermint or yellow dock to relieve itching.

Add 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to your bath water to relieve itchy skin.

Baking soda can be used in cool bath water to soothe other skin irritations and alleviate itching from prickly heat, bee stings, insect bites, and other minor skin ailments.

Another trusted home remedy is to use a weak carbolic acid lotion or a solution of bicarbonate of soda (commonly known as baking soda) and applying it over the itchy part.

Apply cold compress to the itchy areas, it is thought to bring relief from itching.

Fresh stinging nettle oil can be used on the affected areas.

Drinking 1 to 2 cups of Nettle tea daily is thought to help relieve itching. Add boiling water to 1 tsp of the dried leaves for each cup. Steep for 15 minutes.

Apply Burdock root oil to the skin to help heal rashes and itching.

Fresh Chickweed poultice is good for itching. This can be made by soaking 2 large handfuls in water. When the plants soften, cool them and apply directly on the skin.I hv itching on my eyeshadow plz help tes me some home remedy on skin cream?
very simple.Ask for an eye ointment from the chemist. The infection might get worse the time you get the answer for home remedy .If it is just itching and not swollen or spots or boils on eye and it is due to hay fever then try this.Glass of water and 6-8 drops of lemon juice fresh or from the bottle mix in the water and bath your eyes in this 2-3 time.It will give you instant relief .This tried and tested. You did not say why it is itching.Mostly it is due to sun or hay fever or unhygienic like towel used when every one in the family is using it.I hv itching on my eyeshadow plz help tes me some home remedy on skin cream?

Is there any cream for general skin disorders or itches ?

This all depends on what is causing the itch. If it's minor topical dermatitis, try benadryl or hydrocortisone cream. Calamine also works in some cases. Like a previous poster mentioned, trying Aveeno products helps if the itch is caused by dry skin. Something that I had found that works for some people is emu oil. Yes, a bit on the odd side, but several people swear by it, and I have used it with success on my 1 year old's diaper rash.

Now if the itch is something more serious (ie: psoriasis or eczema) you'll need to see the doctor for potent medication. I have a slight case of psoriasis and use a cream called triamcinolone. This works for me, but might not for you. There are several meds out there, depending on the cause of your itch and/or skin disorder. Is there any cream for general skin disorders or itches ?
If you choose to try hydrocortisone cream, use sparingly. Overuse can eventually lead to thinning of the skin. Report Abuse
Is there any cream for general skin disorders or itches ?
see a dermatologist..there are all types of itches and rashes, and you will want to make sure you have the right ointment. other than that, neosporin works wonders for a lot of rash conditions, and will assist in healing your skin as well
Hydrocortisone cream is for itchiness. Also, Aveeno makes a lotion with menthol in it that is supposed to help with itching.
yeah you can get antifungal cream that usually does it. you can buy it in most drug store or dept store.

    Good Luck.

I think I have a yeast infection, but I only have itching. I put the Monistat cream on, and...?

I put it on the infected areas and it's making it even more itchy/irritating!! Maybe I don't have a yeast infection? Because my skini dries up bad in the Winter, and maybe it's just because of dry skin? What do you think?

I'm 13, virgin, by the way.I think I have a yeast infection, but I only have itching. I put the Monistat cream on, and...?
Often the Monistat cream will cause temporary burning when first applied to the area that is affected. It takes a couple of days for it to take effect. If you do have a yeast infection, you can try a tablet called Fluconazole to get rid of the infection instead of the cream. They are normal prescribed by the doctor. If you have a community health clinic, you can simply go to them, they`ll ask you for a urine sample and they`ll use a little test strip to check right away if you have any infection. Minor scratching once in a while is normal, but I definitely think you need to see a doctor to give you more than the cream you have. It could possibly be just dry skin, but again, he or she can verify that for you. Yeast infections are very common, and it`s best to get them checked up immediately before they get worse.

*In reference to the rude person below, I made a mistake, as everyone in the world does and will correct myself. I meant to say that if you do not have a yeast infection- instead possibly a UTI, then they can treat it with something like a Sulpha drug to clear it up. Often urinary tract infections will accompany a yeast infection. In this case, the doctor may prescribe both medications to be safe before he gets the results of the tests back. Now please people, stop using forums to attack people. Any person in their good mind knows this is not a substitute for sound medical advice.I think I have a yeast infection, but I only have itching. I put the Monistat cream on, and...?
Yeast Infection: Douche morning and evening with a two quart hot water bottle/douche/enema bag. Filling it with as hot of water as you can tolerate but not so hot that it burns you. This is very effective at killing yeast as it summons your own white blood cells to the area of infection and they do a splendid job of killing the infection. One or two days treatment is normally required to get over most yeast infections.
it may not be yeast. you should NOT be using monistat. the problem with monistat is that when you misdiagnose yourself (as you likely have), you treat something you don't have. doing this may cause your body to become resistant to monistat. one day, when you really do have a yeast infection, it won't work--cheers!

you need to see a doctor if you think it is yeast. studies show that most women are incorrect in the self-diagnoses.

clean yourself off and wait a day or two to see if things get better on their own.

ps - that ';nursing student'; is wrong and should probably fail out of nursing school. antibiotics DO NOT treat yeast--in fact, sometimes they cause yeast! yeast is not bacteria!
Monistat needs to go on the inside of your vagina, not just on the outside. you need to tell your mom what's going on. you could be having an allergic reaction to detergent, soap, shower gel or something else.

Don't touch or scratch them. Once you touch them they just get worse.

  • What are the best creams to relieve the itching and redness and scaring associated with shingles?

i had a rash all over the back, shoulder, and chest area. it has been with me for a week and is starting to have scabs, but the itching is still intense.

The hair on my rectum itches.... is there any cream product i could use?

Try using herbal essences or vaseline. That cures many itchy **** problems.......................

    Sounds like thrush
hummm... nothing to be ashamed about; sometimes when people shave down there it itches...
    see a doctor... good luck
you prolly masturbate with dirty hands and now you have some sort of rash
    thrush
Sounds like a yeast infection....get vagisil or monistat.
well it mite just be crabs lol

very simple.Ask for an eye ointment from the chemist.

  • Is there any cream for general skin disorders or itches ?

I removed hair from under arms ,i got itches there. Is there method or cream available to get rid of pain?. ?

there's this hanna isul product called recovery ointment. it helps heal rashes, rosacea, burns, skin irritation, cuts, bruises, scars, etc etc etc. and helps sooth pain and inflammation and such. it helps repair the skin or something like that and has aloe vera in it and other stuff to help make all the redness and pain stuff go away. but its really expensive so idk if your willing to spend about 60$ depending on how much of it u want. for me, i always use it everytime i get cuts, scabs, etc. even if i get a pimple and then pop it, i put some of that stuff on and then it heals it. once i went to this place and they did this thing on my face and it made my skin RAW it was disgusting. like they bascially just peeled off like 5 layers of skin in like one little section of my face! and it hurt when i touched it because it was literally just raw skin. so then i put that stuff on it every single day, and now u cant even tell anything ever happened there, not even a scar left. so it works really good and for me i would say its worth the money, but u might be the type of person who doesnt want to spend alot of money. also when i wax my armpits it gets really red and itches too and really irritated and stuff, but i just put this cream on it and then it gets all better. i would probably get the 2oz or 4oz. the 2oz is 59$ and the 4oz is 95 and u have to order this online unless u live in the area where they're located, which is fort worth texas. its better than paying bunches of money to get some treatment thing.so if you buy this, tell me if u like it as much as i do!I removed hair from under arms ,i got itches there. Is there method or cream available to get rid of pain?. ?
use antiseptic (dettol/savlon/ or any aftershave) and clean the armpit if itch persists and progresses to reddness use antiinflamatory ointments. if it gets infected use nebasulf- it is a broad spec antibacterial dusting powder-neomycin and sulphurI removed hair from under arms ,i got itches there. Is there method or cream available to get rid of pain?. ?
It is called Exzema. It's permenent solution is Donkey's Urine mix with Cow's Mud's *** and Past on the part for two weeks for two time daily.
Is it so savi. tas really gud i want to lick armpit of urs and keep my cock inside and shag mysel. u use that *** to reduce itching. But rally i wanna lick ur armpit

I have poison oak is triamcinolone acetonide cream what i want to stop the spreading of sores and the itching?

I have used veet sensitive hair removal cream to remove pubic hair twice and always get spots and itching.?

some of these spots have 'puss' which I can clean up using a warm press but I thought it was only shaving that causes irritation, I dont have an allergy to this product but would like to get good results. Also I'd like to be smooth for more than 1 day which is all this treatment lasts for before I get stubble. I don't want to use wax...please advise??I have used veet sensitive hair removal cream to remove pubic hair twice and always get spots and itching.?
I personally feel that area down there is too sensitive for those creams, and razor are kind of dangerous too, why don't you buy yourself a buzz cutter, it cuts all the hair and it leaves you silky smooth without the razor burn.

Nair and veet burn the skin, if you don't believe me well try this put a drop of Nair or Veet on a small area of your face. Its going to burn the skin and its going to hurt a lot. This is comparable to putting it on your pubic area since both your face and you pubic area are very sensitive.I have used veet sensitive hair removal cream to remove pubic hair twice and always get spots and itching.?
The best way to have least trouble is to trim your hair extremely short before using any method of getting rid of those hair, u can try veet's mild version if u see at the drugstore, also shaving should not be a problem if you don't stroke against the hair growth. . and try not to keep the creme removals for more than 3-4 mins ..

for the itching, apply ice and use an after shave (antiseptic purposes)

and try keeping it as dry as possible, baby powder is the best way to do so.

    hope that helps!
There is sulphur in it which is bound to be bad for your skin. There is a company called Skinmedica that produces stuff that is not sulphur based. The hair doesn't come off imediately but the effect lasts.

I am 4 months pregnant an my stomach itches really bad does that happen or is it the cream im useing?

That happened to me. Use cocoa butter or some other kind of lotion. It will help, but not stop it. Good luck!I am 4 months pregnant an my stomach itches really bad does that happen or is it the cream im useing?
It is common. It could also be the cream you are using. Try a hypoallergenic cream, this may help and stop the itching.I am 4 months pregnant an my stomach itches really bad does that happen or is it the cream im useing?
o ya this definitely happens to pregnant ladies i know how you feel it sucks cuz it itches so much but your not supposed to scratch or you will cause stretch marks. just try using palmers cocoa butter.
that is very usual it always happens unless you are allergic to the cream
It's because your skin is preparing to stretch out, try using coco butter.
im 4 1/2 months, and i have the same thing, its your skin stretching!!!

I take pain medication and my reaction to this is extreme itching. Can you suggest a good cream to use?

I have tried Gold Bond Medicated Cream which just works OK..any suggestions would be apperciated..ThanksI take pain medication and my reaction to this is extreme itching. Can you suggest a good cream to use?
It totally depends on the kind of itch you have and what your symptoms are. Is it a rash? Bumps? Little blisters? Where is the itch?

If your itch is extreme I would do the following:

1st: Make an appt. to see a dermatologist and tell him (or your doctor) about the side effects of your meds. They should be able to perscribe a perscription strength hydrocortisone cream.

2nd: Hydrocortisones are one topical that will ease your itching, but it's not the only thing, and it doesn't stop all itches.

There are also steroid cremes that aren't like real steroids- but they have real itch stopping strength.

Clobetesol Propionate is one such itch stopper. It's awesome and stops itch on contact. But again, more info. is needed about the nature of the itch and where it is/what it looks like on the skin.

    Good luck,

Hope this was a best answer for you!!I take pain medication and my reaction to this is extreme itching. Can you suggest a good cream to use?
you're probably allergic to the meds. that's usually a good sign. tell your doc. you may need a different brand of pain meds.
I would suggest asking your local pharmacist and contacting your doctor for assistance. Your condition could worsen and it should be looked at by a medical professional.
hydrocortisone works great or calydryl theres something in opiates that causes itching because it used to do that to me
    bacatracian, aveno, calamine, etc.
What it sounds like is an allergic reaction.

    Take some Benadryl!

    trust me, it works!

cortizoneMy thigh skin is itching and have red spots. What cream i should apply?
Try Hydrocortisone, depending on where you go it could be like $6 - $10 but it helps with itchy dry skin. It can be found in the health and beauty aisles at any drug store usually next to the Neosporin. Good Luck ^_^My thigh skin is itching and have red spots. What cream i should apply?
I would use regualar antiseptic cream such as germolene or savalon.
Get ahold of your doctor and ask about then prescibing a cream called Triamecinilone cream 1%. It is a steroid cream good for rashes, itching and dry skin. Winter causes a lot of odd skin problems. You should talk to your doctor first though.
There is this stuff called Inotyol you can get in Sweden. Research it and find an equivolant where you live.
There is a new salve that is helping this allot, You can go to

{ genniesalve.com } and check it out. Good Luck.

Question about vagisil itching cream. Please answer?

    Hey,

I was wondering, is vagisil only for the outer parts, or can I apply it at most a few inches into the entrance? I did have irriation on the outside and vagisil worked wonders but I'm now experiencing a little bit of itching just a few inches in? Is it alright to apply in this area?

I know it says for external use only, but does that just mean don't eat it? lmao

Thanks!Question about vagisil itching cream. Please answer?
HAHA you can put some up to an inch in.. Don't just start squirting the whole bottle up there!! They say external b/c they don't want any really soaking into the blood stream.. As long as it's a little in, and only a little ointment, your fine.

beware, it may sting a little!Question about vagisil itching cream. Please answer?
no dont put it inside... its only for the outer... it burns so bad if you put it inside omg... good luck.. just get the vagisil powder and when you're itching dont scratch it just leave it alone..
    i always put it inside.

    nothing really happens to me.

but i think it does get a little irritated cos i then produce more discyharge than what i normally have.
If you're itching that much, please go see your doctor or gyn. Sounds like an infection to me--eg. yeast. Or if your panties are nylon, not cotton, that can cause itching too. But get checked out!

Are these anti-itch creams safe to use during pregnancy?

    Hello,

Is Aveeno Calamine %26amp; Pramoxine HCI Anti-Itch cream and/or Gold Bond Anti-Itch cream ok to use during pregnancy?

I'm 28 weeks pregnant and I have an itchy belly! I've asked my Doctor about the creams and he said they should be fine. But he also said that if they don't work then he'll give me a steroid cream and well if he thinks steroid creams are ok then I'm not to sure about his opinion on these creams. I might be just paranoid but I like to get more then one person's opinion on things like this. And besides I think I have the right to be just a little paranoid about the health of my babies :)

Anyways, Do you know if these creams have any side effects?

http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=100786%26amp;id=prod4541#ingredientAre these anti-itch creams safe to use during pregnancy?
I'm 33 weeks with twins and I used the Aveeno cream for a rash I have on my legs and feet. It didn't work but my doctor said it was safe. I also tried regular calamine, hydrocortizone and benadryl, all suggested by my doctor. In the end none of it worked for me, but it sounds like yours is just the normal itchy belly from the skin stretching. If you really don't want to use a medicated lotion, I heard that aloe vera lotion is really good and helps to hydrate your skin so the stretch marks aren't so bad. If you develop a rash though you should be sure to mention it to your doctor.

    Good luck!

Why is my back itching after using 10% BENZOYL PEROXIDE Clearasil ACNE Cream for 4 days? What can I do?

My back started itching pretty bad after I used the most common Acne cream 10% BENZOYL PEROXIDE CLEARASIL from Rite Aid.

What should I do about this and can I use Proactiv or AcneFree from Costco? Why would my back start itching anyways? Why is my back itching after using 10% BENZOYL PEROXIDE Clearasil ACNE Cream for 4 days? What can I do?
your back is itching because its drying out. the peroxide will dry your skin out.Why is my back itching after using 10% BENZOYL PEROXIDE Clearasil ACNE Cream for 4 days? What can I do?
Either you are having an allergic reaction towards it or the medicine is drying out your skin causing it to get itchy.
that happens to me alot if my nerves flare up on my back, and i use gold bound medicated body powder or lotion in the green the other goldbond lotion and powder containers are yellow like looking, they all pack alittle haet but i have always felt better
some people are allergic to BP, Im one of them.

it can dry it out at first, maybe your using too strong % of BP

try the 5% or better yet, the 2.5%. 10% is too strong for most people who can tolerate it!! try the lower % on those areas

but please lay off a few days or a week and then try it, if it continues to itch/irritate. stop! I have had allergic reactions

to even the 2.5% BP is strong stuff!

as for the itching, just leave it alone a while. ditch the 10%

for now. if you can't tolerate the low dose, don't risk it further.

Vinegar %26amp; water bath, then petrolium jelly to lubricate.

    Also quit wearing tight clothing or thongs so much. Full butted panties are better for your.... as you say, ';downstairs';

Until you're sure though, I'd steer clear of hooking up with random guys. No I'm not calling you a ho.I have used Vagisil cream for my itching downstairs. I do not have an infection.?
    just stop removing them!!!

I have a terrible itching in my vagina. I am pregnant. I use Monistat cream but it became worse?

1-What is the problem and What should I do?

2-is there anything especial in market for washing vagina? I always see some whiteness inside of my vagina.I have a terrible itching in my vagina. I am pregnant. I use Monistat cream but it became worse?
you may have a yeast infection. You may like a lot of sugar, but sugar feeds the yeast growth, so does white flour.

Boric acid does wonders for that as far as externally goes. Building your immune system with healthy foods that support and combat diseases is a good way to go. Raw Garlic and Onions are yeast killers and are safe for Moms. Also eating Nutritional yeast helps replenish the b vitamins that the ';Candida yeast'; tends to eat away. Stress can cause this also so try and relax. Take a walk. Take a shower, (but not a bath). Get a massage. Get enough sleep. Go swimming in the ocean. (the salt water is great).I have a terrible itching in my vagina. I am pregnant. I use Monistat cream but it became worse?
it sounds like a yeast infection. have you tried the monistat more than once cause it can burn the first couple of times you use it. if you have tried treating a yeast infection and it still doesn't go away then go see the dr.
If Monistat isn't working, you might want to try eating yogurt with active cultures; this may help boost the vaginal ';fauna'; that helps keep the yeast (which is always present in small numbers) in check. You could also try a vinegar-and-water douche; you can mix it yourself, or you can buy it at any drugstore. If that also doesn't work, then it's time to see your doctor.
If not a yeast infection...it could be an STD. Def have a dr. run the gauntlet of STD tests.
Sounds like you spend too much time analyzing yourself. Please see a doctor and remember that is an area that needs to be kept clean
Is this your first pregnancey? Most women get a some of the same symtoms with each pregancy. But when you are pregnant you can expect almost anything to happen with your body because it is going through so many changes. This is usually when women find out when something is going on with their body like diabetes, std's and things like that. You will just have to speak with your obstetrician. (doctor)
inject yogurt directly into the vagina this will bring quick relief be sure it says live active culters this will be effective if it's yeast if not see your gyno
Might be a yeast infection, but I would see the doctor, since you are pregnant.
    stop using monistat

you probably have a yeast infection, and you should consult a doctor

dont worry, i wont hurt your baby
Firstly, you should tell your OBGYN about any vaginal changes during pregnancy.

Secondly, you should NEVER use a douche or similar protect to wash out your vagina! Your body produces bacteria that keeps your vagina healthy, and using douches kill the bacteria and can cause yeast infections.

Just go see your OBGYN. It's very important when you're pregnant to let them know about ANYTHING like this.
There is a natural balance of yeast and bacteria in the body. During pregnancy because of the changes to your body, it is common for one or the other to get off balance. If Monistat did not treat it or made it worse, it is likely that you have a bacterial imbalance, or bacterial vaginosis. It is not serious, but you will need a prescription to treat it. Since you are pregnant, I recommend seeing your OBGyn, as some untreated infections can cause issues in the pregnancy if they are not resolved.

I was treated for scabies, took the cream like 5 times in the past 3 months and I still itch and rashes, help!?

I took 4-5 treatments of scabies cream and it seems that is not helping. It does help for a bit but I still have some bumps that go down and then get bigger over time. The cream is seems to not work, any suggestions to what it is? I washed everything in my room every time I applied a treatment. I can't take this, and I feel things crawing under my skin, and it's effecting my relationship. Any help would be great. I was treated for scabies, took the cream like 5 times in the past 3 months and I still itch and rashes, help!?
You have to wash all you linen and clothes in boiling water, get your mattress professionally cleaned and clean your whole apartment or where ever you live. And I mean clean everything. Curtains, pillows etc.. Good luck to you.I was treated for scabies, took the cream like 5 times in the past 3 months and I still itch and rashes, help!?
OHHHHHHHH Honey, I feel you. I was treated for svabies, body lice, shingles and all sorts of things. Now they say I am having an allergic reaction to a medication that I am on, but of course they can't tell me which one. I have been miserable for months with the rashes and itching and the only thing they have given me that helped at all, and it is only a short fix, is a medication called Methyl-Prednisolone. It calms the itch and rash ALOT. But if you find out what your rash is let me know as I have my Dr's befuzzled with mine. But good luck and I hope they find you some relief Cat
I'm not sure if this is the same but i thought i had scabies once but the doc told me it was a bacterial infection from being TOO CLEAN !!! I was using anti-bacterial soap and what it does is kill all the bacteria on your skin, you actually need to have some to stay healthy, the doc told me to not wash for a week so that it would come back to normal, that's what i did and it cleared up in about 2 weeks.

i tried using vagisel cream but not working . am not able to sleep at night because of this but there is no itching in day time pls helpCan anyone tell me some tips or some cream to control vaginal itching?
    Vaginal itching

Common causes of vaginal itching include:

Chemical irritants -- such as detergents, fabric softeners, feminine sprays, ointments, creams, douches, and contraceptive foams or jellies.

Vaginal yeast infection -- often includes a discharge that is white and curd-like. Vaginal yeast infections can be brought on by antibiotics, birth control pills, pregnancy, menstruation, condom use, sexual intercourse, diabetes, and a weakened immune system.

Vaginitis -- inflammation, itching, discharge, and odor caused by other infections (including sexually transmitted diseases). Vaginitis in girls before puberty is common. If a young girl has a sexually transmitted vaginal infection, however, sexual abuse must be considered and addressed.

Menopause -- the drop in estrogen causes thinning of the vaginal wall and less lubrication.

Stress -- may increase vaginal itching and make you more susceptible to infections.

Other possible, but less common, causes of vaginal or vulvar itching include:

Pinworms (a parasitic infection mainly affecting children)

Certain skin conditions affecting the vulvar skin, some of which may be precancerous

    Home Care Return to top

To prevent and treat vaginal itching:

Keep your genital area clean and dry. Use plain, unscented soap.

Avoid colored or perfumed toilet tissue and bubble bath.

Wear cotton panties or pantyhose with a cotton crotch. Avoid panties made from synthetic materials. For infants and toddlers, change diapers often.

Change out of wet clothing, especially wet bathing suits or exercise clothing, as soon as possible.

Avoid feminine hygiene sprays and douches.

Eat yogurt with live cultures or take lactobacillus acidophilus tablets when using antibiotics. Check with your doctor.

Cleanse by wiping or washing from front to back (vagina to anus) after urinating or having a bowel movement.

Lose weight if you are over weight.

Keep your blood sugars under good control if you have diabetes.

    It is also helpful to:

Avoid scratching, which will only aggravate the problem.

Avoid overexertion, heat, and excessive sweating.

Delay sexual activity until your symptoms get better or at least use a lubricant during intercourse.

Use condoms to avoid catching or spreading sexually transmitted diseases.

If you know that you have a yeast infection because your symptoms are exactly the same as those in the past, try over-the-counter creams or vaginal suppositories

    WHEN TO SEE YOUR DOCTOR

    --------------------------------------鈥?br>

    * Itching persists more than three days, doesn't respond to home remedies or is getting progressively worse.

What Your Symptom Is Telling You

Unless you spend your summers at a nudist camp, your private parts are often covered in three or four layers of material鈥攑erhaps a pantiliner, panties, a pair of snug-fitting pantyhose and your coolest Calvin Kleins.

So what is that warm, moist part of you doing under all those layers?

It's itching! And it's driving you nuts.

Vaginal itching can come from something as simple as trapping bacteria for too long under too many layers of too-tight clothes. All that warmth and moisture provide perfect conditions for incubating infections.

In fact, itching can be the unwelcome calling card of a wide variety of infections, ranging from bacterial vaginitis to yeast (also called Candida albicans or monilia) and trichomoniasis.

The itching can also signal an allergy to a chemical in soap, deodorant or dye, or may simply be a sign of thinning vaginal tissues in women approaching menopause.

    Symptom Relief

Let's take a soothing look at how to banish that infernal itching.

Sitz in some salt. Several forms of vaginitis will often respond to a simple home remedy鈥攖he saline sitz bath. Here's the recipe from Gideon Panter, M.D., a gynecologist in New York City.

Dissolve a half-cup table salt in a shallow tub of warm water. In the tub, insert your finger into your vagina to let the warm salt water in, then remove your finger and relax for 10 to 15 minutes. Two or three consecutive nights of sitz baths should ease the itch, if yours is home treatable, Dr. Panter says.

Abstain for the duration. Don't have sexual intercourse until your itching has cleared up, Dr. Panter says. If the organism that set up its itchy housekeeping in your vagina was transmitted by your partner, there's no sense in re-exposing yourself to trouble. Take a few days to show love in other ways, he suggests.

Consider the condom. Condoms provide wonderful protection against both unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted disease. If condom use always seems to be followed by a bout of vaginal itching, however, it's possible that an allergy to the condom's latex rubber, powder coating or lubricant could be the problem.

Try this simple home patch test from Bruce Katz, M.D., a dermatologist and assistant clinical professor of dermatology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. Tape an inner-side piece cut from a fresh condom to one arm, and an outer-side piece to the other arm. Leave both pieces in place for 48 hours, and keep the areas dry. If both arms react, you're allergic to the rubber. If only the arm with the inside of the condom taped to it gets itchy or rashy, you're allergic to the powder. If only the arm with the outside piece reacts, you're allergic to the lubricant.

Does this mean you should avoid using condoms? Absolutely not, says Dr. Katz. Their role in reducing infection risk is too critical. Instead, have your partner use two鈥攍ambskin over latex if you are allergic to rubber, or reverse the order if the powder is the problem. Why not just switch to lambskin? Lambskin on its own can't protect against some organisms, including the virus that causes AIDS. Dr. Katz says a nonlatex condom should be on the market shortly, which will solve the problem entirely.

Ask your doctor. You'll need your doctor's help to determine which type of infection is causing your itching. If you've been diagnosed with yeast infections in the past, and are very familiar with the specific symptoms, call your doctor for a prescription, recommends R. Don Gambrell, Jr., M.D., clinical professor of endocrinology and obstetrics and gynecology at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital and Clinics in Augusta. Your doctor will prescribe antifungal medications such as Vagistat, Nystatin or Monistat.

Trichomoniasis is treated with the prescription antibiotic Flagyl. Bacterial infections call for antibacterial agents鈥攅ither sulfa drugs or, if you're allergic to sulfa, with Betadine antiseptic, an over-the-counter product, says Dr. Gambrell.

';And be sure to have your doctor test you for the human papilloma virus (HPV),'; recommends Jessica L. Thomasson, M.D., a gynecologist at Columbia Medical Center in Milwaukee. This virus, which causes genital warts, is an important and frequently overlooked cause of vaginal itching, she says.

Get help for menopause symptoms. If you're approaching menopause, ask your doctor about treatments for itching caused by changes that are taking place in the vagina. Hormone replacement therapy is an option, but you should also ask about prescription hormonal creams for the vagina.

Bag the douche and powder. Douching not only won't help to relieve itching or vaginitis, it may be dangerous, says David Eschenbach, M.D., professor and chief of the Division of Gynecology at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. Douching may drive infectious material up through the cervix and cause pelvic inflammatory disease, he says.

The use of talcum powder or cornstarch is questionable, too, Dr. Eschenbach says. Over time, the tiny particles may collect near the ovaries and increase ovarian cancer risk.

I have a jock itch, does it mix with either vaseline, baby powder or bactrician zinc anti ointment cream?

i went to a doctor about the groin irritated skin and he prescribed bactrician zinc ointment or something

after a week of use it went away but then my scrotum started itching and it too had irritated skin that hurts whenever i sweat, so it stings

people have recommended baby powder to keep the area dry, and vaseline to moisutirize the area in case it is dry skin

my question is that, which one should i use, can i use both, and should i still use the bacitrician zinc ointment even though its past a weeks a time since my doctor told me to stop using it?I have a jock itch, does it mix with either vaseline, baby powder or bactrician zinc anti ointment cream?
don't put Vaseline on it.get a powder for jock itch,or anti fungal spray.I have a jock itch, does it mix with either vaseline, baby powder or bactrician zinc anti ointment cream?
Go back to what the doc had you use. Never use vaseline on any kind of rash. It does not moisturize, but is rather like putting a coating of thick oil on the rash and it will cause severe itching. Avoid powder as well because it can irritate the area even more. Do not use any kind of moisturizer on jock itch. It will only make things worse. Use what the doc gave you. That's the best and smartest way to go.
You need antifungal cream. You should be able to buy from pharmacy
I used to work construction and frequently had this problem. Baby powder worked everytime. I think Vaseline actually makes the problem worse because it holds in moisture.
yeah go get some lamisil jock itch creme the stuff will get rid of the itch and in a couple days it should stop burning when you sweat... i had the same problem and i tried using baby powder but honestly it burned when i put it on, and although it was dry it didn't help.
its from not washing yourself %26gt;_%26gt; hope it falls off
You mix powder with vaseline and you are going to have a mess. You need to go back to your doc and get something stronger, like a fungicide.

Or you could wear a maxi pad. Just kidding.

    Which itching cream to buy?

i have itching sensation between my legs, i think due to sweating, i had this problem earlier too, in india when i had this problem , i used ';Itchguard'; and the itching used to go away in 2-3 days, which cream can i buy from walmart ot rite aid....please advice me... or any other pharmacy.....i am new in US...

but first consoult with ur doctorI have eggzuma and the cream hurts the eggzuma whont stop iching it been itching all night what should i do?
i also have exima on my arms well i showed it to the doctor or use the benadryl cream it worked. :D
I don't know if you are using your prescribed cream to help eczema or if you are using an itch cream. I suggest using a cream to help stop the itch. They make spray to stop the itch too.
    eggzuma haha.
Sarna you can get it at a pharmacy. It's the only thing we found to stop the itching for our 5 year old grand daughter. It doesn't burn going on either! A little expensive, but it works. Also, cold/wet compresses work short term too.
Eggzuma sounds really bad...maybe you mean eczema.
that happened to me when i was younger turned out that i was alergic to the cream...i then got steroid cream and that heeled it straight away and i have'nt had it since but it has to be prescribed by the doctor so i would advise you to go there:)
I used to have egzema as well, and I suggest going to the dermatologist for it. They will give you a cream to help it go away. Wear long sleeves and pants to keep yourself from itching it as well.
    learn to spell
    It is eczema.
I used to have eczima but i grew out of it but i used to use aqueous cream you could get a big tube of it also i never done this but apparently it works - you can have a hot bath with oats in. I hope you get betta
ezcema shouldn't be scratched lightly tap it if you want but it only makes it worse, the cream will sting but thats a good sign
I Really Don't Know Why . I Have It To I Usually Put Vaseline On Mine...
this is weird but carmex worked on mine.
Accupuntue is helping my psoriasis. Weird but results are good
It is itching because there is no cream that treats eggzuma. It is eczema, don't you wish you didn't drop out of high school.
I had eczema several years ago and like you had problems with the cream the dr gave me. I finally got some old fashion udder balm (found at Wal Mart or a farm store) and used it. It really helped with the irritation. It comes in a green tin.
Eczema can drive you nuts, been there done that. What has worked wonderful for me over the years is a creme called Hydrocortisone Cream 1% and available in any drugstore. Buy the generic version (store brand) also with ';Plus 12 Moisturizers'; at a Rite Aid store brand, its less expensive.

Put a dab on the spot as soon as you dry off from a shower and rub it in. Your skin is much more pliable and soft after a shower. Also put it on just before you go to bed at night.

3 days and you'll start to see it heal. If you use it consistantly and it does not go away then its time to see a Dermatologist. (skin doctor)

PS Do NOT buy any soap products or any bath soaking products, they will dry out your skin and make it worse.
You should go to a doctor so you can advice on what to do, and find a better cream that doesn't hurt
I have it too....its summer so if the suns out you should be to as it helps clear it up. Try and not scratch it and if you NEED to then try and rub it or not stick your nails to far in. Moursterise every night with a non scented mosteriser. It will be soore at first but after about 10days it will help
Wear clothes that keep you 4rm stracthing it go to cvs or where ever and buy avenno no itch cream its n a blue ans cream colored tube if you start useing that it should help your itch also buy the avenno soap bar the box should be around the same color as the tube if the avenno products don't work try cepetcul I think thsts how u spell it but the jar is lyk a shinny light tan color and the label is light green and blue there products also work good but may bry out your skin so don't over use
i also, honestly have exema. Do you have prescription cream? You should go to a dermatologist. It will burn at first but it will heal, you have to restrain yourself
    you scratch it...
First of all STOP scratching - or the itch-scratch cycle will not stop (yes there really is such a thing!)

make sure your cream is steroid based - like hyderm or betaderm (do not use on face) at at least 1% hydrocortisone.

It will take a couple days for that to start working on the eczema after you STOP scratching so you can combat the itch in the meantime by using benadryl tabs - or the generic and less expensive pills called diphenhydramine.

    All available OTC

    Good Luck!
    Hahahah EGGZUMA. Typical spelling mistake.

Maybe your using the wrong cream. Sometimes when you put the cream it itches a lot more then it all goes away after a while. that happens with me sometimes.
Maybe when you went to the doctor to complain about eggzuma, he thought you meant eczema, and gave you the wrong cream. Call him and demand eggzuma cream.
my name is michelle and i also have eczema..lol...you should put on the cream and to cool off the area, put on baby powder...or any other type of powder..
Get some muslin or something similar and wrap a couple of handfuls of porridge oats in the muslin. Run a bath with the bag of oats under the water. Have a bath :)

The oats are excellent for nourishing and moisturising the skin.
First of all, it's spelled eczema. You don't say what kind of creme you're using. Lanacort, or some kind of cortisone creme helps and doesn't hurt. What hurts is the open sores that have been scratched. Try using Antibiotic ointment at bed time and cover it, then use the creme in the morning The ointment will help heal the sores. I've gotten eczema on my hands. Anytime I handle tomatoes (except Roma's) I get it.
whatever you do, don't scratch it

its going to itch, just try to ignore it. Put the cream on, but when your not using it put aloe vera gel on you hands, some people say it sooths it. Peppermint oil works too.

Can Triamcinolone Acetonide 0.1% cream be used to relieve spider bite itching?

About a year ago, I had an itchy rash and my doctor prescribed this cream to treat the itching.

I recently got a bunch of spider /insect bites that itch horribly.

Could the cream work to prevent this type of itching?

If not, what do you recommend I use?

    Any home remedies?

Thank you very much! Can Triamcinolone Acetonide 0.1% cream be used to relieve spider bite itching?
I had this at home for my eczema, husband got bitten by spider, it was all red, itchy and nasty, so we put it on it. It got even worse. I would suggest just plain hydrocortisone cream. By the way, when this happened, we went to the doc, and found out that most spider bites, even from non-poisonous, get really infected. Keep a watch on it. If it gets bigger or you see streaking. Go to the doc right away.

Oh...and never tried this...but supposedly a wet tea bag helps. Tannic acid and all that.

Veet makes me itch regardless, but i have sensitive skin. you will probably still itch a little as hair regrows. razors hack the hair off causing the ends to be blunt and 'scruffy'. that's why hair that you don't shave is soft and hair that you do shave (face, legs, pits, etc) is stubbly. the regrowth from Veet is less harsh but the chemicals could cause you to itch anyway. you can get Dove deoderant (unscented) if you have sensitive pits. i knew a guy once that used it. up to you. but i'd maybe think about letting puberty take it's course. there is nothing weirder to me than guys without leg hair or armpit hair..unless they're like 90 years old. good luck in any case.
first you are quite young for all this.but still you want it,please donno use hair removal cream.if you use them you would end up with dark and ugly armpit.
dont do that male are hairy only girls likes that
Wax it thats the best possible way

bt 1st of all ur way too YOUNG for all this and men usually have hairs and if at all u need them try buying a women shaver which is more softer than men shaver and use them each day

the best way is to apply mehindi powder over that part and it will never ever grow again

do all this with extreme caution and be ready to have the side effects
if shaving cause u itchiness, why not try waxing?
    u should wax
Before using any cream, apply a sampe and see if it itches. Then if OK go ahead.

I have just bought some Canestan AF cream, it says it treats athletes foot and JOCK ITCH, what is that.?

I was told to get some for psoriasis of the groin, will this do me any harm being so close to such a delicate place.I have just bought some Canestan AF cream, it says it treats athletes foot and JOCK ITCH, what is that.?
The ';AF'; in this stands for ';antifungal'; which is why this treats both athlete's foot and jock itch, both of which are fungus infections in different places. Since this brand is listed for use in both areas, it should not be a problem with the more delicate areas. (Some athlete's foot creams and preparations might be too harsh to use in the genital area, but this one is labelled for both.)

The doctor may think your psoriasis is complicated with a bit of this fungal infection or may be trying to prevent one. Perhaps there are even studies showing that an antifungal might help with psoriasis, which is not normally considered an infectious process. But the psoriasis lesion and the itching and scratching increase the risk of getting infections.

The groin is also a moist area, and likely sweaty feet, this is a good environment for yeast and other funguses to grow. Keeping this area dry can help reduce the risk.I have just bought some Canestan AF cream, it says it treats athletes foot and JOCK ITCH, what is that.?
    put some on
First of all, let me reassure you that rubbing Canestan AF (an anti-fungal cream) into your groin will do you no harm whatsoever.

Athletes foot is tinea pedis, Jock itch (an American term for fungal infection of the groin) is tinea cruris. As you can see from the first part of their names, they are related conditions ... both fungal infections. (They like moist areas of the body.)
In UK we put it up our (female parts) so no wont do you any harm

    Jock Itch LMAO so American..........
It will be perfect for such a delicate area
its an anti fungal cream jock itch is thrush as it atheletes foot, it wont really do a lot for you psoriasis to be honest, a bit of e45 cream should do the trick
