Ok so i dont know if im having an outbreak or if one is about to come but i dont see anything and it is itchy so if i used anti itch cream do u think it will have any affect on the outbreak if there is actually one there?Having a herpes outbreak and using anti-itch cream.. any effects?
u didn't mention where the out break is located.
if its an oral out break then it would be better to use something like Abreva or Lipactin to help heal it and even prevent it.
if its a genital out break then u shouldn't really put topical creams on it. the best thing to do for that would be to keep it clean and dry as possible also taking some suppressive medication like Valtrex would help.

I don't think that the anti itch creams really help, unfortunately. Try taking an epsolm salt bath.
but no, it won't ';affect'; the ob....won't make it worse or better, i don' t think.
