What ant-itch cream/lotion/etc. do you put on your mosquito-bites or fire-ant-bites?

Tried everything, from Vinegar to rubbing-alcohol...nothing really seems to help. What ant-itch cream/lotion/etc. do you put on your mosquito-bites or fire-ant-bites?
the first answer is a good one.

and I have also used hydrocortisoneWhat ant-itch cream/lotion/etc. do you put on your mosquito-bites or fire-ant-bites?
Anything containing 'lignocaine' or 'lidocaine' if you must, Americans!

It is a numbing agent and when applied topically (on skin) it lessens the itch.

Other HIGHLY recommended treatment is DO NOT SCRATCH

because you will increase your histamine release, which makes you itch.
HC45 cream is really good. Its from the same people that make E45 cream. It is hydrocortisone so it is a steroid and must be applied sparingly but it really does work. I'm allergic to mosquito bites and this is the only thing that stops them itching.
Let me know if any of the suggestions worked. I have the same problem.
